I have a 14/21 repitched to a 14/20 in my 310. Jamie at Kspeed recommended the 14/21 being repitched to 14/20 for more speed. Haven’t got a chance to test out top end yet

just rebuilt my 15f motor and followed the instructions. I had good compression up until I started the motor, now I have 220 psi on cylinder 2 and 3, but 0 on 1 & 4. Could this be a timing issue or something worse?

You would have to put the cams at lobe up and vacuum test the head, it is possible a valve was bent

@@kawiperformance I found out what it was. The retainers we're installed properly on those two cylinders, and then it damaged the little spacers on top of the valves. After fixing that it's running great.

@@CrochetNewsNetwork just like the KP bypass plate eliminates exhaust filter maintenance and the KP Saltwater series tensioner package eliminates tensioner maintenance, this will essentially eliminate the need to change the factory bag every 25 hours and will improve fuel flow to meet the demand of high performance applications! You can get a coarse bag and run the KP external filter (what I will be doing) or run a KP larger fine mesh bag in tank- either option will be less change interval than OEM

@@Razorpee sadly Kawasaki shafted us the with fuel pump and filter assembly on the new skis- its got a pathetic flow rate and the filter bag requires 25 hour change intervals for peak flow. This KP upgrade will eliminate the oem filter maintenance while also providing a deeper dip in the tank meaning you will get extended range compared to stock- this also allows you to run an external fuel filter before your injectors and a coarse bag in the tank that will likely last minimum 5x as long as the factory fuel bag. I'll be doing a full install and review in the coming weeks man- it's a bear to change but can be done if you have patience

So which setup would you recommend for my STX-160? I’d like to go as long as possible without having to tear into my ski. I’d like to change my oil and spark plugs every 25 hours but not have to do anything major until every 100 or 200 hours. Would you suggest the external fuel filter?

How much longer until that new fuel system that you guys have been working on is ready? I’d like my STX-160 to be just about as maintenance free as my 2004 STX-12F was
just purchased this and tried it on my 2022 310lx. Everything seemed fine but the newly programmed key will jot start the machine. When you put the new key in now the machine beeps 10 times and then the screen shuts off. What can be causing this issue?

Wouldn't it be easier to just remove the ride plate as you have to get under there anyway for the 2 bolts, the reverse bucket will drop down with it, and you don't have to mess with the step.

Removing the ride plate causes unnecessary work. You have to remove the silicone and reapply, all costing money and at least 2 hours of additional time

Also, the 250x had 7.8:1 compression compared to the LX 10.6:1. Does this make much difference in performance/reliability?
