They are still holding up. Have done a few crow hunts this year and they seem to still work. I haven't made youtube videos in a while and really should get back into it.

I got that and their actual 3 crow motion decoy, without any motion I feel like they stay just at that height of not being able to shoot!

How are you getting an accurate temp with the probe right on the heat tape?

The probe is always supposed to be on the heat tape to control the temperature it generates. You may need to raise it a few degrees to get the entire incubator at the temp needed. This will be my 3rd year using this incubator with no complaints.

@12gauge44 I've never used a heat tape before I just figured it would be like conventional heating where the probe is out away from the source when you have air circulation

@@wallyodom8254 I have a secondary temp gauge that measures the air temp. The thermostat probe is on the tape just to keep it consistent

Still going strong! I'm actually out tonight with it coyote hunting. I've called in and shot 14 yotes this year with it which isn't bad for western NY

I'm doing it as we speak..... I've found that gloss paints are not good for this process. I've cleaned off my last attempt and going to try again with Rustoulium satins. I tested red, white on pine....looks cool.

I've never used scent from a bottle, but I know it works. I usually just used "fresh" coon hides and got them really excited with it. Started small and work further. If you have any other question just holler!

I just made sure it was clean and dry. A layer of primer wouldn't hurt, especially if it's a color in the pattern incase it misses some spots. This video is a few years old and they are still looking nice.

My dad had such a coon hound that she would go in the water tracking it. Very few will go in the water because they know a coon will get on its head and try to drown it. My dad had served in Korea, and before it could drown Cindy he got a straight shot at it and saved Cindy! I was a young teen then.

Man that is super impressive!!!!!! How is she doing years later? I just uploaded some videos of my pup doing fairly good at that age as well. Check it out if you have time!! He’s just now 10 months old and treeing his own coon ever so often. Still got a lot to learn though.

I will definetly check it out. We are still running dogs, just not as often as I'd like. I plan on making some update videos this fall during season. She still trees, but she has her nights where she gets distracted. Diesel still is a powerhouse coon machine though!
