Ok..well this is in Munich and oriented for both Germans and tourists.Right now my home twin city in southern Ontario is prepping for their annual Oktoberfest, which is genuinely the biggest in Canada. Our city area historically has been Mennonite and German based. There were 4 German clubs in our city when I was a teen living there. My high school played oompapah music over the intercom in morning. There was an Oktoberfest assembly /performances for hr. in gymn, etc. A few of my German-Canadian classmates dressed in dirndls and 1 guy only in lederhosen shorts. Yes, folks had last name of Weber, Epp, Schmidt, Jantzen, etc. So German. And our historic street areas do have German street names...still. Yes, I know as a Chinese-Canadian I do have German culture touchpoints, including my dear partner who died a few yrs. ago who was a child immigrant from Germany.

4:03 Ganna is the rider in the blue. The green rider is Roglic. You probalby took the names by startingorder. Ganna overtook roglic at the finish line. 5:22 Remco is belgium and if I am not mistaking, he will be only allowed to wear the rainbowkit during TTs. Somebody correct me if I am wrong. Most important. Thanks for the video.
@AgingGracefullyMyArseАй бұрын
Ah yes...you are right! He did pass him right before the finish! Thanks much! And I think you are right about the rainbow kit & only being able to wear it during TTs. And I KNOW he's from Belgium - clearly I was having issues last night when I did the the video. YIKES - I have some clean up to do!! Thanks again! 😊 I'll be at the road races next week and need to get my act together! 😂 Now I need to figure out how to edit this thing!😮

Great spot you had to see the time trials Margy. Two of my favourites won. Grace and Remco, who we would like to claim as Dutch but he is unfortunately from Belgium 🇧🇪 😂. We saw him win the world championship road race in Australia in 2022 and I’ve been a fan ever since. Enjoy your trip😎

Yay for Grace!! Was hoping Chole could repeat, but bronze isn't bad... A Remco is AMAZING!! And yes...I KNOW Remco is from Belgium. Not sure where my brain was last night... I guess I really was tired after standing for 7 hours!😂
