I tried the build doesn’t rock. Unless I’m with a group insta killed. Mag recovery too low heals aren’t strong enough.

It works Solo and in groups. Healing is very strong, you can get like 17k burst heal crits. You can play safe at range in zerg fights too

That set is also probably cracked on nightblade now also since their leap got reworked to dps similar to talons in an aoe, hoping it procs on everyone at once haven’t tested it yet

Great video, thanks for going through it so thoroughly! I’ve always loved ranged magicka nightblade, I used to run buffer of the swift/necropotence waaaaay back in the day lol. Curious though, does your damage from debilitate drop off when you bar swap? Or does the game recognise that you cast it with soul cleaver so that damage stays the same?

The damage does drop slightly on the DoT by bar swapping but I'm not sure if it's soulcleaver dropping or losing the Sharpened trait by going to back bar 🤔

I keep watching KZbin videos hoping to see a mag sorc build that is not the same as 90% of others. It just says a lot about what ZOS needs to do with this class. It's just getting incredibly boring.

Max mag stacking is just stupidly strong on mag sorc. It helps damage, survival and sustain. I agree it's boring

It's the effect from Soul cleaver having 5 pieces active on that bar. All the class sets have a body effect if 5 pieces are active

Khajiit is absolutely fine, just be aware you might be slightly squishier but play more hit and run with better crit damage

It's from his soul cleaver set. It's only active while in combat.

What was that at 00:31 a 15k heal or burst damage? Looked to me skill that was use was cripple? Which is weird.

Kept watching your video i agree with cripple i recently added it back. I love make them dodge and the pop tether. Also its great skill for battle ground when enemy garb the relic.

Ive using that same scribing skill on back bar love it. What i recently done is switch it. the second affect instead of that heal over time which is small like you said. I pit a affect reduce damage by 8% really strong 10 second. I dont really here much people talk about that. And you get a nice blue affect on arm to let you know once its down

Yeah for sure that's a really strong effect for damage reduction. The main reason i run the heal over time is to give ozezan to my team but otherwise the dmg reduction is better for strictly solo

No reason to use 1x Ancient/1x Crafty on front when you could do 2x Ancient front for the same mag, but more on back. Giving up 2550 from 5x Crafty just to get 1096 from 2x Ancient doesn't make sense. Your way, you get 9340 front, 4384 back. The way I described is 9340 front, 5838 back. Use 1x Crafty jewelry, 4x Crafty body, 1x Ancient jewelry, 2x Ancient front.

@MashMalloman Yeah I realized this a few days after posting the video. It doesn't really affect the builds damage or survivability since all our max mag scaling skills are on front bar. It could help slightly with sustain not losing that extra 1.5k mag on bar swap. Nice catch.

Great build. While the new BGs do have their own issues. The smaller arenas work well for the Templar play style because you want to be in your Sacred Ground(s). Adding A-Lancer set just benefits you even more. The Coldharbour Collesseum is my favorite new map for this play style. I had a group kill where Aetheric Lancer procced behind a pillar I was LoSing on. When the opposing team came to 4v1 me for the kill, I used Crescent Sweep and it procced the spear on top of that. The combined tooltip was nuts. Plague Break sounds like a good addition. But I want to try a Rangeplar with Snake in the Stars and Sloads using Dark Flare since there’s a ton of healers in BGs now after the MMR reset.

Yeah aetheric lancer can be incredible with a tightly packed group. Looking forward to trying the new BGs on console. I hope they fix the matchmaking problems before console launch

@ Everyone is running BGs right now. With the MMR reset it’s pretty chaotic. You’ll get a lot players who don’t want to die or prefer other play style because of the high skill ceiling. A really good example is a lot Cyrodiil healers joining the BGs. I fought 3 different healers in 3 separate BGs who weren’t all that good. But “by their powers combine” they all were on the same team in one BG. Whether they’re on your team or the opposing team it doesn’t really make for a fun match even with a back-and-forth. We had a healer on our team as well but they were a BG regular out healing the three together. 🙃

They should have a role function for 4v4 Solo Q like they do for Dungeon finder. If every team has 1 healer then it should be more stable. Dunno what they'd do with the tank role though since you don't need one in pvp

Non-vamp, it's too much of a sustain hit now for not that much mitigation for most builds. Any Stam race will work on thos build - Imperial, Orc, Wood Elf, Dark Elf all good

Not typically, I switch between cyro and BGs a lot so it gets annoying having to change CP / glyphs. Just remember to heavy attack more in BGs haha

I'm Stuck. I'm following your build. I've got all the same armor (golded) with the same enchantments, high elf, food, attributes, etc. Resistance, Spell Damage, Crit, Penetration match yours. Mag, Health, and Stam Recovery match yours also. But, I'm getting 2,427 less Max Magicka, 1,702 less Health and 924 less Max Stamina (non-buffed): 5% less. Not sure what would cause it. Any ideas??

It's to be able to reliably proc the Piercing Cold passive for extra block mitigation, get a ranged light attack to proc Aerie, and have a full strength Wep Dmg enchant.

@yungfleance849 it's a pressure build, just a different way of playing. If fighting a magsorc or nb for example we just need 3 gcd to get multiple 20+ second dots on the target and even if they kite away they need to deal with constant dmg vs a burst dmg build needing to stay on them more.

I play templar on PSNA. I rotate it in the armory between mag and stam builds. Lately having the most success with a ranged magic focused setup. Mostly playing bg's. I find with templar building I'm usually struggling to balance sustain and damage. Getting the comfy amount of one leaving me lacking the other.

Yeah Templar is in a funny place where it feels too far stretched. It's difficult to come back on the offensive if you are on back bar. I like range plar but missed jabs so have been playing around with this build

Thanks, they're probably the trickiest boss in this Dungeon, especially if the mechanics bug out. The gargoyle boss is also tricky cos if he petrified you you end up wiping. I'm not using Plague, rather I have Deadly and Orders Wrath with Velothi. I have a build video on the channel.

Glad to see you are still going ❤ This isnt a dig but id love to just see the Boss fights on Vet solo 💪🏻 My friend Don used to do this but never promoted it enough, i think its a good watch and a better learning experience for those still crying fake tank/healer in Normals when you are soloing Vet bosses ❤️ Sorc is the easiest to do it on imo, well...was due to resources shields and streak to break mechanics like Zaan solo

@GKDEIMOZ9167 it's just a straightforward deadly / orders wrath / velothi / maelstrom staff build. Main champion point that's important is reaving blows that gives 7% of damage done back as healing
