I’m surprised he hasn’t played. I wonder if it is a playbook issue? But the Utes have guys that need more touches. Pittman needs more. Singer needs to keep getting 7-8 catches and 10 throws to a game. Zipperer looked good in his minutes and I’d like to see him get on the field. The TE room has room to catch more too. King, Ryan, and Lomner all have opportunity to get an extra catch.

This is a joke. They are making sports about nothing more than money. It used to be sports were mostly about developing young men and team and learning to be there for them. It used to be loyalty meant something. Not any more. Now money runs the decisions 90%. It used to be when someone gave you a chance, you had some amount of loyalty to the coach or team. And now not so much. Same could be said about coaches.

No, he’s recovering from an injury. I am an athlete in my life and injuries suck I’ve had strings of them Rising has had terrible luck and I’m sure he’s just as frustrated as you are probably far more. Cam is a player. Go utes!

I love Cam, but we can’t keep giving him all of our NIL money to sit on the bench. I know it’s been frustrating for everyone.

@@theoptimist9605 it’s a bad idea to abandon our best player just because he’s injured. It sends a bad message to future recruits that if someone gets injured will just throw them to the wayside. It’s not a blown knee. It’s just a hand injury to his throwing hand four weeks at best. He’ll be within a few soon. He’s been dressing out.

With Rising not only can we win the conference, but I we are a national title contender. Wilson has high potential, but we need Rising this year. He will be back by Arizona State.

Wilson may be an elite QB in the future but he is not ready. I do not think he can take Utah to the playoffs. Rising can. I am willing to wait until he is recovered enough to play. If that is after the bye week fine. This is not about winning right now. It is about winning a conference championship and getting into the playoffs.

There is a reason Isaac picked Utah. He was a high prospect, he had to know he was going to play a lot this season to choose Utah. They just need to unleash him and let him go play.

I'm just simply echoing what many other frustrated Utah fans have also already stated ( including most of the comments in this comment section ) of how we are all OVER the guessing game of "will Cam play this weeks game" for the ENTIRE season.......AGAIN! Dude's old, too fragile and is enjoying our limited NIL money a bit too much at this point. I wouldn't have been so quick to call on Cam's retirement if I wasn't confident in Isaac. But the kid has proven himself these last few weeks and he is a true freshmen. Enough of the Cam games. If Cam can't stay healthy.....AGAIN....then give the number one QB job to Isaac permanently. With our D and Isaac getting better each game I am becoming more confident that Utah can beat ANYBODY in this Big 12 and ( unlike last year in the PAC 12 ) we could win the conference....even without Cam. But this is week FIVE now and we still might not have Cam ready. Isaac is, week in and week out. Give him the starting QB job already then. Kid deserves it.

Him being older than an average college player literally doesn’t mean anything. The NIL thing is the only solid point you made. If we would have known this was going to happen 2 years ago, of course we don’t bring him back but Utah isn’t necessarily know For pumping out elite QB talent and although Isaac has been good Cam is better. Isaac has proven to be very turnover prone and you can’t get away with that all season. Cam will probably end up playing the last 7 games and if he gets hurt then you are right. But he is unarguably better than Issac.

People are mad that Kyle is allowed to play poker and they take out there feelings on Cam? Make that make sense. It’s clearly a competitive advantage so I’m not sure why people are mad when we are 4-0 have good backup QB play and all signs point to Cam coming back after a bye week.
