Can someone please tell me why Rose isn’t starting over Wilson? Rose was supposed to be our starter for the season until he lacerated his liver in practice last season in fall camp. He’s been in the program for 3 yrs and has looked like a competent QB when given an opportunity. Is it a PR move to prevent Wilson from transferring? The dude isn’t him, I get it, he’s young and a true freshman. But he doesn’t make reads, doesn’t go through progressions, the game is too fast for him and he doesn’t make good decisions. Just because you’re a highly rated recruit doesn’t mean you’ll pan out. Or he’s simply not ready for this lvl and needs another yr or 2 to process the game before he’s given the keys back to the offense.

In many ways, where Utah is at with the program is a confluence of factors that hv unfortunately come together simultaneously to create an unstable situation with this year's team. The injuries, the expectations, the adjustments associated with moving into the Big 12, and the continuing impact that NIL and the portal are having on all programs. I think its still very important to hv Whittingham at the helm as coach, at least through next year, otherwise Harlan could run the risk of the bottom falling-out of the program, a plethora of transfers and, recruiting taking a big hit moving forward!

That's exactly what will happen if we don't can K Whitlessham. He's peaked & now downtrending. Harlan really needs to reboot the program with a totally new fresh coaching staff. No Scalley!! Leave No holdovers around from Whitlesshams system.

Hopefully we finish strong. Especially for the future pf the program. Only 5 games left. We should be able to beat Houston and UCF. If we lose those two games, we'll more than likely have a losing record which is crazy. If that happens I bet KW steps down. Wilson probably leaves cuz I don't think Scalley is going to be good as HC.

Our Utah football team has become the Laughingstock of the entire Big 12 and our basketball team is picked to finish Last! Our entire athletic program is collapsing And our NIL donors are fleeing our program. It feels absolutely Hopeless. Anyway, GO UTES‼️
