I had the technics xm120 it was 120 watts per channel with the fan, it blew something? No longer have and cannot find another one , it pushed my Cerwin Vegas better than any other replacement receiver, it looks a lot like yours, any idea on finding another one , I like yours it has 120 per channel too

took this equipment to a repair shop, cost me $40 bucks just for an assessment, repairman said cannot fix it and parts no longer available due to discontinued model. Came home search youtube saw your video and ordered belts from amazon, cheap. followed your instructions and now it works like a charm. such a waste going to the repair shop. Thanks for doing this, very appreciative.

I always store my amplifiers upside down when I'm not using them, in case the electrolyte escapes the capacitors.

My unit was shot. Nothing would open or play. Opened it up, the rubber bands have no elasticity at all. Like they melted or something. Kind of a shitty design for the whole functionality of the unit to relay on some thin ass rubber bands.

@ringydwm I agree. The good news is that it's not hard to clean up all that sticky crap with some isopropyl alcohol and qtips and replace with new bands for low cost.

Great instructions for belt replacement!! Did that with no problem. Gears got out of sync and can’t get unit to read for “TOC” or function correctly. Help!

Hello Robert. I think it's going to be difficult to troubleshoot this via the comment section. I didn't have this same issue either. The good news is that you can access the service manual for this unit which goes into great details about the disassembly process which may offer some insight into getting your gears back into sync. I did run into a similar issue on a different unit and in the end I just had to play around with moving the mechanism to various positions and reinstalling the belts to get everything back in sync. I own this CRT myself, albeit the bottom part of the screen displays dead yellow pixels whenever a red image shows up. Currently getting that fixed.

Very good you did remove the dust from the cell, this is the first thing good, and after this to clean the lens with izopropilic alcool. Also I always keep a cd permanent inside the drawer to avoid the dust. Great job.

I fired up my TruFlat today after a three year sleep, only to find that the Auto Program can only hold 35 digital channels. Maybe this was plenty of capacity in 2007, but most people, like myself, get over 80 when you include subchannels. Alas, I had to go back to the external converter box for the capacity I need.

Hi. Thank you for the demonstration. I actually just bought this unit at a Goodwill and I’m getting ready to replace the belts. I was noticing that it does not appear to read how many CDs are in it. I’ve seen changers before that scanned the carousel and let you know how many disc are in it and where they are. This one does not appear to do that. It’s from 2000. Maybe that was a feature that came later? Did your unit know how many slots in the tray contain disc?

Hello. When in cd mode and no disc is playing, press the Shuffle button on the remote repeatedly until the words "ALL DISCS SHUFFLE " appear on the left side of the display them press play.

If you have a switched outlet on the back of your receiver that is where you would plug this in. It will then be turned on and off automatically with the receiver power. Liked seeing the inside and back of the unit.

Hello. I'm not sure on the specific sizes. You can find them on Ebay by searching with the unit's model number and the word 'belts'. I see there are people selling them as a set. I also have bought bulk belts on Ebay that come with multiple sizes and just find the closest one to the existing. Easiest would be to buy the set that are made for your unit but it usually costs a little more going that route. Good luck!

Bel denon,fatto bene.questo modello ha il telaio in plastica,e nonostante alcune persone hanno criticato i telai in plastica in realta' non cambia nulla sulla rigidita' e resistenza torsionale del telaio.anche la maggioranza dei videoregistratori hanno lo chassis in plastica e non hanno mai dato problemi.ottimo denon!

This is the sweet spot of the EX line. Its fully weight in stereo at 120 watts. 10 to 70 khz. You have to go up to the TX1000 or TX50 before you get 120 watt 2 channel. I have one of these myself. Clean flat sound. Nice unit.

Hi, I'm Having Klipsch R-12SW Subwoofer. the issue is there is no output. I had tested the Speaker its good. then checked power is good. I keep it auto mode, and when signal pass it turns LED light on. can you help me out to resolve this issue. where and what other component to check there are many surface mount Cap and resistors. also there are no any over heating sign. ya know, I still buy CDs pretty regularly, and the most comparable thing to this on the market today is made by Yamaha, and it's $500 since this has an optical out, you can hook it into whatever dac you want the interface is simple and clean, the fact that it has physical buttons man these are like $100 on ebay and I scooped one up after you did the demo i feel like these might be worth a pretty penny in a couple of years

You can change the settings to record in mono, which is good if you're recording 1960s mono LPs, and this doubles the disc capacity from 74 minutes to 148 minutes or from 80 minutes to 160 minutes. It's actually a couple of minutes more than that as the discs capacity is slightly higher than stated. I have two of these JE330 models. One is in service and the other is in a box in case the first one dies. As I only paid £50 for one and the other one was free with a load of discs that I bought it was a no brainer. I also have 3 micro systems with built in MiniDisc recorders and about 50 portable machines, some just players but, mostly recorders.

Thanks I was just about to disassemble to fix yet another problem & was going to do it myself this time as from new this would of been the 6th time it has been sent to Jura for repairs the first time was inside 9 months from brand new every time time different problem for them to open before they fix anything $600 so thanks mate for the vid
