How to Clean CD Player Laser When CD Won't Play on Sony SCD-CE775 SA cd player. This is how I fixed a CD player that would not play certain CDs. Some CDs would play but even those were a struggle for the machine on occasion. After cleaning the lens as shown, all CDs played fine. Only attempt at your own risk. Very good you did remove the dust from the cell, this is the first thing good, and after this to clean the lens with izopropilic alcool. Also I always keep a cd permanent inside the drawer to avoid the dust. Great job.
