What do you recommend 18x9 245/40, 18x8.5 245/40, or 18x8.5 235/40? The 18x9 weights 18.4 pounds and the 18x8.5 weights 17.5 pounds. It will be for the track only on a Golf R. I'm on the fence about it.

I know it's an old video and you sold the car by now, but do you remember what was the option with "reduced noise" about? Was that meaning the haldex pump is off? I want to buy a proper haldex controller from VDVeer, mainly to be able for powering off the pump on highways (less wear and fuel consumption). But that module is so expensive, almost 1k euro. If I could do it with a regular cheap OBD2 hardware and software, would br great.

I heard this before from people with Camaro's. A youtuber was Comparing Michelin to Continental. Michelins are notoriously wider and taller since the height is a % of the width. That's horrible! Especially when you want to make the tire look a certain way, or you expect it to look a certain way, then you mount the tire and it doesn't look right.. Too big, too wide, too bulky, too tall.. But this is not a problem if you can swap out tires until you get the right look and size. Like if you are GM and you engineer it a certain way. But from a buyer stand point, you never know what you are getting until it is installed, and by the time it is too late! That is the only reason why I don't want to buy Michelin, at this time.

The Tesla was painful to watch... nothing wrong with the car when the driver is all over the place, not driving the racing line.... of course he's gonna get a swirly.

I used tape on the top perimeter of inside door frame and it’s helps creaking noises

I just reset mine to "increased traction" again after about a year or normal, and the difference is startling. The car just feels more lively and responsive and better-balanced all the time. There's noticeably less understeer, which I figure is because now there's less of a load on the front tires, so more of their available traction can be devoted to cornering. Definitely worth a minor reduction in gas mileage IMHO.

I've been using nextzett gummi pflege (which is made for conditioning rubber), but maybe lasts 1-2 months btwn application. I'll give the silicone oil a try!

2 Stage and the Tesla would be lost, stage 1 would close the gap. Very good for just a BBK lol
