You know what the funniest part of this is? The plate trick is entirely unnecessary, there are pans specifically for frying things in the microwave. You CAN cook in the microwave but you just have to not be a fucking dumbass about it

watching him put eggs in a microwave dessert is rlly cringeworthy. eggless microwave cakes are way better bc the eggs dont cook right in the microwave and they make everything taste eggy and spongy and gross

old edit but, pol martin making the french onion soup by putting it in a weird gravy bong, bread on top, and the cheese just dumped onto it and nuked in the microwave, was exactly what a restaurant in a kitchen nightmares episode did with their french onion soup, in like, 2005

One of the funniest things about this series is hearing them get outraged at cooking certain things in a microwave that can easily be cooked well in a microwave (e.g. cauliflower). It's just that well, there's cooking and then there's.. whatever Pol's doing to those poor ingredients in the nuke-box.

Funny thing is as a cook, having a microwave can be super helpful. Like for making decorative but edible sponge cake, tempering chocolate, steaming/blanching veggies. Or steam cooking rice/tilapia. But this is not only slanderous usage of the microwave, this is just a nightmare to behold

If you actually incapacitate *all* guards in a level, then there's not much the other NPCs can do about you. Only guards can wake up unconscious NPCs.
