@@robertbrow6289 hey Robert, I haven’t got one to try at this stage! But if I do I will definitely be putting up a review! I’m going to say that this board is faster than the flame fish on softer waves, However that new HYFI tech is insane so could be a game changer for that board..

@@bowiepollardsurfboardrevie6757 Saw the Cado at Alex BB yesterday when I was ordering my 6'8" Boss-Up. It looks sick, looks to have more tail lift than my old Flaming Pony and my Seaside. Definitely more than my old Chum Lee and Twice Baked. I like that think it should turn well even when the waves have a bit of push.

@@NetherlandsBusiness that’s a tough one! I do still like the Baron flyer, However I would say this board is more forgiving for most surfers I feel, The Baron flyer will suit more of a shortboard surfer!

Yes! Way better flex patten, I found the HYFI to be abit stiff at times, The new HYFI feels more alive under your feet,

Hi mate, If you are wanting more of a flowing a cruise styler board with open face turns go the sea side & beyond, If you are wanting more performance in the pocket and to ride steeper waves go the boss up! Both great boards I personally feel sea side & beyond is a great point break board, Thanks

I would say it’s abit more all round, The big double concave running through the board really helps in small waves, I really like the el Baron good in big waves, I feel for the Sunshine Coast the boss up is one of the best all round mids for our waves!

Thx for the review. I tend to size my tomos lower volume30-32, but have gone up for the frk+ at 6’1”. They all work for me depending on the wave! Would you tend to size this more like a tomo- looks more planing hull than hpsb? Ta

Hi mate, Glad you liked it, I went a little bit more volume then my frk+ and it was bang on! I normally ride 32L and went up to the 33L in this due to the low rails on it! I hope this helps,

I was riding a 5’8 mashup and went to a 5’11 S boss, Felt pretty well on the money, It runs quite a low rail so abit more volume isn’t bad on it, It’s great step up from the mashup

I would say that it has wider range of wave options then the black Baron, Has you can ride it as a quad giving you more speed and hold, Thruster setup if you want more in the pocked surfing, And 2+1 setup when it’s small!

Stupid name. Tempting fate. Should have made it a double-flyer channel bottom (tail or belly). Futures are a pain in the arse. We have multiple boards with the Futures stuck in them. The production if flawed.

Its only negative for me is you can only get them with Futures fin boxs, so add an extra $200 for fins, and then hope you buy the right fins too, if your an FCS dude like me

Swallow tail fish really, had one shaped by Mick Pearce late 80s, too surf dredging hollow reef breaks in Vico, I'm sure the Wire Fire is a bit more refined 🏄♂️

I used the Gudauskas 2+1 originally on the GSkate, but changed to the Futures Blackstix 2+1 which has stepped the speed up on it and feels like they cut through the water cleaner and smoother than the CI Gudauska 2+1 🤙🏼 love the versatility of this board from knee high to well over head waves from chop to clean swells - such a great board 🤙🏼
