This looks really neat but- Do you just leave the wooden skewer in the hand? Wont it fall out? Wont you be able to see it? What could one use instead?

Nice video. But why is your sculpture demonified? Without the red eyes and skull bell it would have been an adorable little goat.

These videos are very detailed and actually are very informative on how to make bipedal art dolls. I have a big issue with that. I always am trying to make dinosaurs and most of them stand on two legs, mine fall over all the time .

Thank you for this, the art doll community has started getting more beginner friendly. When I first tried to get into the hobby while it was still more or less new art style online but when I would ask about anything the few good doll makers I fallowed only to be met with almost hostility an even mockery to a degree. Trade secrets are fine, some have taken tons of time an money to figure out certain tricks an deserve to make money off it especially with other competition in selling art can be stiff as there is always an artist willing to work for cheaper. What got to me an outhers was the elitist attitude an unfriendly atmosphere that chased me out of it for years an focused on doll repaints. I had a friend who actually got fleeced by an artist that promised if she payed her she would teach her what she knew only to get scammed. I'm only now getting back into it.

Cosclay! Although it is not cheap and more expensive than other polymer clays. And there are different ones from hard, medium and soft.

Once your done making the limbs moveable, can you bake the clay while the aluminum wire armature and wood is still in the clay?
@human-tk2fo Жыл бұрын
You should be able to, wood combusts at about four hundred degrees Fahrenheit, at least I think it does, and bake temps should be lower than that
