I worked at steak n shake for 7 years and I had graduated 4 months before the hire with an MBA. They never asked me if I wanted to go for shift lead at all. I recently quit after they fired 4 morons one of which they hired and fast tracked to shift lead. And that shift lead had closed the dine in, had played that the store was having technical problems just to not do shit. Meanwhile I would have been on the ball. Steak n shake doesn't reward competency it seems but hires and fires absolute shit workers while pushing the good ones to finally quit.

My main thing with cruiser rider and 99% of harley riders and especially the hd riders is if you ask them to name any of the 19 american made motorycle compays ither then hd or ibdian they cant do it without google. I ride a ktm sdr and no one has a ckue what it is let alone instantly call it a jap bike. Plus lets not even mention hd couldnt compete in superbike (they tried vut engine design did give them the v-rod) they can't win super holigan nor can they win king of baggers aka every race curcut they created to make their bikes look better indian along with other brands beats them.

It’s people who fall into the culture because they can’t think for themselves and need someone else to tell them how to behave. Harley is imported now so they can’t even claim it’s American.
@speedygonzales8144 Жыл бұрын
It's because most sport bike riders are complete total douchebags. If you look at any post on social media with a Harley. Don't beat at least ten sport bike riders trashing Harley-Davidson. If you look at a sportbike page no Harley Riders go on their talkingshit. Even you and your own video start bashing Harley. But none of you punks will say that to a Harley Riders face. I used to always wave to sportbikes. But since I know that after you were talking shit behind my back I stop doing it.

Never understood this. My dad had sportbikes and now I do. I'm 30 and just never liked harley style bikes. But I don't hate nor act weird towards them. But harley style bikes and there riders just don't like sportbike riders at all. I remember it used to be because harley were American made but there not anymore. So idk? Why the hate is. I also don't ever see sprtbikes in biker gangs with Harleys. Idk? If they allow sports to join? I've seen all sportbike clubs and they might have some Harleys with them. But Hatley clubs never have sports with them or i never see them. But I do agree that a lot of sport bike riders do ride crazy asf.

Real riders don’t need gear indicators to tell them where they are you can’t always rely on electronics, what’s the point of having a big bike if you never studied it? You speak on many pros about the bigger bikes but too many cons about the smaller ones Pros with a 300 it’s financially affordable to maintain and maintenance. Why would you buy a 650 for just the speed if you are gonna cry about the cost of keeping up with it and maintained later? You’ve already highlighted it more forgivable. On the track real racers actually will race the 300 against bigger bikes because of its lightweight advantage. The 300 EATS CORNERS of you think it can’t outrun the cops you’re mistaken. If anything gets boring it’s when you only get a big bike just to go in a straight line and “race” but when it comes to overall technique it’s like you giving a child a sniper rifle and expecting them to be a pro off rip. Growing into a liter bike is extremely risky because you’re gonna be looking mad stupid when you’re in that coffin and the people who swayed you into thinking to getting a bigger bike just so you could fit in. The ninja 300 is actually the perfect bike next to the 400 it’s balanced. I’ve raced gsxr’s and other liter bikes in traffic and twisty roads I’ve always passed them, they got more than they bargained for not being able to understand the power that’s underneath them all because they listened to their “friends” to get a bigger bikes just to “go fast” in a straight line

That was not a review. Pipes don't matter they go out with a stage1 that nearly most riders do. Bars dont matter they are a cheap change and rear sets will give the sporty race feel. No mention of liquid cooled in line 4, 6 speed high torque motor. 12 sec quarter mile bike at stock with a top speed of 230kph. Susprension?, Brakes?. Tyres?. Compression?. Weight?, trail?, seat?, rims?, colour choice?, fuel tank range?, Remember a review is not about what your used to or what you like or don't, that is personal opinion.

I went on a group ride today, I was the only Japanese sport bike rider, after being on the hwy riding in formation behind these noisy slow machines, I got bored , dropped two gears and passed all 25 of them, at 220kms😏 I'm was asked, in a non polite manner not to participate in their group ride ever again😆 I work in a bike shop that repairs mostly cruisers, and decide to go on the weekly Wednesday afternoon ride... yawn🥱 not my thing, maybe I'm just a holigan, but what ever, not many other sport bike riders in my area. IMO, motorcycles are all about riding spirited, regardless of the type, or model, as Sammy Hagar said: "I can't drive 55"🤨

I'm 53 and ride a street fighter now and have always owned sport bikes before. Only owned Japanese bikes. Insane reliability and it does everything a thousand times better than a Harley or any other cruiser but they have their place. Trying to hold off myself on getting a cruiser until my broken old ass really needs it. So I understand you get older and it's harder to ride the sport bikes. As far as the Harley guys hating on sports bikes, It's way better now I feel. A lot of Harley riders my age used to own sport bikes in their younger days so they don't have issue with them now. It's the boomers that have the biggest attitudes towards us and of course the younger Harley guys cosplaying Sons of Anarchy. Anyone on two wheels deserves respect. It's stupid being a dick to anyone. But like I said, it was sooooo much worse when I was in my 20's. The hate and attitudes were ridiculous. Way better now. Ride what you enjoy and stop thinking you're better than everyone else because you paid twice as much for a lesser performing bike. It makes no sense.

If Harley rides want more performance out of a motorcycle, then there are other choices, and brands, but the look, aesthetics and stigma of owning a Harley is too hard to resist. Although I've seen a few hopped up chrome hogs that really move, but only in a straight line.

Nobody on. HD thinks they are faster than someone on a sport bike. And “faster” is pointless anyway since their are speed limits on roads, we aren’t on a track. All bikes are fast anyway. When you grow out of the need to simply zip past everything you will come to appreciate how to really enjoy riding. It’s about the sights and the thrill. I’m on a sport glide special, it’s certainly not a rocket, but it’s big and powerful and comfortable if I want to do a long ride. It’s got killer sound system, looks badass. It’s what works for me. You do you.

Im a Harley rider and personally i don't like sport bikes but it doesn't form my opinion of those that do. you do you, to each their own i wave at everybody. Nothing better than an accidental group ride, was headed down interstate 44 last summer and came across another rider, then another and another . Next thing you know a half hour later there's a dozen of us packed together, a group of total strangers just tearing down the hwy together.

Riding a 185hp sport bike 🏍, that weights less than 450lbs, corners on rails and revs to the moon, does takes a level of skill that cruiser bike riders never give us enough credit for. We're not just "go-fast hooligans" there's lots of concentration, skill and precision in riding these overpowered Machines to the extent of their true potential.

I just purchased a new 2016 Bandit leftover that I found sitting in a dealership warehouse in Ohio. Got it at a steal new with 4 miles on the clock. I had always heard this bike was bulletproof and just plain fun to ride. It shares a garage now with my 2005 Kawasaki ZX-12R and my 2018 Aprilia Dorsoduro 900. Bottom line, I am glad I got it. The up right ride is a pleasure on longer hauls and the torque at low end makes it pull strong and so smooth. It's now my go to bike for longer rides where I am not with a group doing high speed runs. All three of my bikes each fill a certain niche in my riding needs and they are all great for what they are made for. The pipe did come off on day one with a K&N intake filter and a Dale Walker Hole shot kit is next up. This is a super good bike and I understand there a two or three more out there in dealerships around the USA if anyone wants a great deal. Great video thanks!
