One thing I've discovered about starting a channel is that I thoroughly enjoy talking with the people in my comment section, and recognizing the regulars. It's liking seeing a friend again. I look forward to people commenting rather than the views because of the interaction, of people getting together and having a good time or discussing a topic. I started to record because it looked like fun and I still enjoy it, especially the editing. Sometimes my job gets in the way and I feel bad about not posting more, but the times I've posted something out of guilt I'm not happy with it. I learned there to only record and post something when I want to and when I enjoy it. There are a lot of small channels that pop up because they want to become big but when it doesn't happen quickly they get discouraged. Your mix tape comparison works well, and if you are really into it to make it big and make money you have to grind and make some quality work. Just found your channel via this video, earned yourself a sub. Be safe and kind out there man!

Good vid. I'd say it's a mix of people being disappointed that they aren't growing, and people who just get burned out on how much work it is to post consistently.

I don't think it's dying per say, but alot of channels big and small have been hit hard because of constant changes from youtube so they quit. I've been vlogging for nearly five years now, still have less than 2K subs. Unfortunately, and I say this without any form of malice, but the community has had large increase of drama and egos clashing. In several cases, people's channel got big sub bumps because of who they are friends with, etc. But at same time, I cam also think of many who earned big sub count on own. One thing I've learned in motovlogging is have no expectations, just have fun doing it.

+Rogent X i have to agree with u on it being somewhat of a popularity contest i sure have seen channels grow base solely on who they are friends with .. ill just keep doing my thing and having fun making the videos i want to make lol

Each motovlogger does it for different reasons. I do it because I ride a lot and figured why not show people what I do. I do make some content on Subs request but most of the content is just what I do normally. If I had a go pro when I was riding many years ago the content would have been insane. Either way good video I subed because it is hard to find good small vloggers who stay in the game.
