So you showed us a "boat releaser"............... despite explicitly telling us it also catches. Still, well done for your DIY system. Nothing better then saving a few hundred dollars.

You should call it the "Captain Hook's Release" :)

The dash on the gunshot amongst others is so shit. Who would want to pay that much $$$ for a brand new boat and not flush mount their electronics. Apart from that though

Title is misleading, it's not a boat catcher, it's a boat release.

I don't know if this builder can claim to be hand laid as the video shows a lot of chop being sprayed, but the overall quality of the layup including the chop looks good if not a bit wet.

We just fitted an EZI Guide to a Redco Sportsman Trailer on which we carry 4.3 Tabs Cruizer the Two existing Guides had to be removed and a couple of brackets welded to the trailer cross Bar to allow the Ezi Guide to be at the right level on either side of the back roller ( took it to a steel fabricator and he made the adjustments and fitted it for me we had the boat in the water while he did it and when I took the trailer back the wind was howlind from the north and the current coming in from the south the boat was almost impossible to line up with the trailer when we actually got the nose of the boaton an angle in between the Ezi Guide I started to wind it up and to credit of the product the boat went straight onto the trailer Iff fitted properly it is the perfect product 5th December 2016 John Ballina NSW

Because of the amount of reinforcements used in the bottom half of the hull. They are designed to take a beating.

have you actually been in any COOTACRAFT Vessels carlo capelli ? They are amongst the nations best proven vessels in the country. Hundreds of commercial Abalone, Longliners, and Charter operators all speak highly of them, Surely they can't all be wrong ?? I own the vessel in this video MSV 11654. Let me just tell you simply, this vessel will outperform many others.

stephen winser .....thanks for the positive comment Steve, at the end of the day it cost me nothing to make, it DID the job well, made in my workshop at home. People that know me know very well I used to fish Port Philip Bay approx on average 150 trips a year more or less.....for real yeh.......i'd say 90 percent of the time I fished solo, & that home-made boat catcher served me very well of launching & retreiving the boat as a ONE man one handed operation that ran smoothly mate, thanks again.........triks

Con also recorded a Christmas message for all his fans. I hope you don't mind, but I posted it on here for you and all the other WCW fans to watch :) DJ
