Also, back in my USCF days, we called them "bump drills"....deliberate, low=speed contact with your riding partner(s).... could have prevented the 2nd crash....

great video. doing it for the first time this year. what width tires did you use? what width would you recommend? how much walking did you do? does your video show the worst sections? if not are there many more? thanks.

When "fitness" exceeds "skill level".... First crash was 100% preventable.... Keep bike UPRIGHT, STAND on outside pedal....duh.... and the off-camber dip in the road should have been a CLUE....

And right at the last second the heart rate peaks at 181. Amazing. Nice win. That was fun to watch. I used to race seward 25 years ago when I lived in Seattle. Brings back good memories to see it still going strong today.

We used to rip these same laps around Mercer Island back in the day...early 90s for me. Wish we had the bike cameras then.

That was such a blast. I knew when you and the Marcks went, it was time to go too. Still the duration of that bridge surprised me.

I know leaving a line open and then closing it when someone takes it is part of racing but it’s deviating from your line and it’s what almost killed Fabio Jakobsen. Maybe some of us will consider not making that a part of cycling anymore?
@RunRecoverRally Жыл бұрын
It's the leader's corner if he's first in, there may be some bad sportsmanship in closing the door but that's racing.

They need to just pit the gloves on after the race. Definitely can't be doing dumb ish like this with 40 or 50 other folks around and all riding 6-10k bikes.
