Yeah BNB is a separate network, so if you sent ETH to an address via BNB chain its unrecoverable, unless its a wrapped version of eth

The video was very easy compared to what I've just experienced. I sent base eth from NOW wallet to Base eth on metamask. But I received ETH on Ethereum mainnet in metamask and not base. Meanwhile what I need is base ETH and not the mainnet. How do I go about this?

Just use the main bridge or orbieter finance to send ETH from ETH network to BASE network

BEWARE: I obtained an ETH deposit address from BinanceUS and sent ETH to it from my Coinbase wallet using the BASE Network. The ETH never arrived because BinanceUS doesnt support the BASE Network. I spoke to BinanceUS and they informed me that they have no idea when they will support BASE. Until they do, I have no access to my ETH. They did assure me that that asset is sitting there. To me this is outrageous especially when the BASE Network is integrated with the traditional Binance exchange. BinanceUS just hasnt integrated for some reason.

@@1LifeInvestments I have an account at both Coinbase Wallet and BinanceUS. I had $10,000 of ETH in my Wallet, I wanted to transfer it to BinanceUS so I generated and copied a ETH Deposit address on BinanceUS and put it in Coinbase Wallet which then promoted their BASE Network as the fastest and cheapest network to use for the transaction so I selected it. I sent the ETH to the BinanceUS address and it never arrived. I texted BinanceUS and they said although they integrated the BASE network for their Binance app, they have not integrated with their BinanceUS app so my ETH is sitting in the address and I am unable to retrieve it until BinanceUS decides to integrate with the BASE Network. It could be years for all I know. They told me to watch announcements and contact them when they integrate so they can help me retrieve my ETH.

Hello, thank you for the video. I was using Kraken and when i withdraw and send to base, i have to pay first a withdrawal fee, second a fee to send to base. If i was using Binance instead, would i have to pay those 2 fees too ? (Like you, it's an ETH transfer to Metamask on base).

I was told I have to send eth to the ethereum mainnet wallet first, thereby paying ridiculous gas fees. From there I can bridge it to base. I’m just trying to confirm that I don’t lose my eth with this method. Thanks

You can go anyway which ever you want, using the official bridge might have some benefits down the road (noone knows) or if you are sending little amount Bybit to base as long as you are using the correct address no isses. :) let me know if this was clear
