hoe meer ik kijk naar deze reportage hoe minder ik ze apprecieer. De mystiek is weg.Het zijn gewoon mannekes Den ene kan niet eens tegoei praten, den andere is ne marginaal. Geniale band. Ik wil niet meer weten hoe ze zijn of waarom .... headhunter...egghunter...urgh, typisch belgisch.

I got to know Front 242 thanks to Depeche Mode, and to this day they are two great inspirations for me

Great footage! Saw F242 as a support band for Depeche Mode on late 1987 and got strongly involved and fascinated with their music at that time, unlike the most of the Milan’s gig audience…

Sou fã de varias bandas ate com maior notoriedade, mas Front 242 é uma paixão sonora, visual, vídeos e tudo por conta de um amigo que me apresentou nos anos 80 ele tinha um estilo punk, underground sei la ... Mas eu pirava no estilo dele, meus pais jamais deixariam eu fazer metade das coisas que ele fazia, mas era super do bem, meus pais adoravam ele e tudo, mas adora uns cabelos loucos, roupas, botas, tatoos etc

13:35: Good old Commodore 128 computer :)... (note that it doesn't fit into the timt frame at the point in the doc, the C128 came out in 1985+, and you are talking about 1982 at that point) :)

242 is so damn good. it's like a sonic feast. the first time i heard them in high school, i was blown away. got to see them live and was surprised at how good the electronics translated live.

The uncompromising integrity shines through, especially Daniel B. The Nazi accusations must have hurt more than they perhaps acknowledge. Anyone taking to them for more than 5 minutes must surely have realised these are no fascists.

Just a bare fact: the defense of Donetsk Airport was lasting for 242 days. Ukrainian fighters (known as "cyborgs") against the prevailing Russian and LDNR separatist forces. How did Front 242 knew it back in 1981? 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦

Best of all, the operation began on 24/2. Leave it to German or Russian warfare, you always get the proper EBM aesthetics.

P.S.: oh sorry, their missile raids becoming worse as well - during the massive attack this Monday, 44 of 50 missiles were intercepted. Our air defense weapons are better, and our operators are more skilled day by day. And yeah, desperate mobilization of untrained folks or buying Irani drones made of hay and turds - it's not EBM aesthetics, it's a fcuking shame. Ukrainian defense is where you should find it. To me it's funny how they talk about evil and off. They where the albums that introduced me to F242 in the early 90s and are still my favourite albums. What they thought was musical suicide was actually genius, way ahead of its time.

Great to hear Foufone in Montreal kept their US tour alive! Front 242 was a huge band for me, a big influence.

When i saw them here in Deutschland at the beginning of the 2000 ( Bochum my hometown ) A chapter of my life ended Happy and full of Ebm inspiration Thx !!! Body to body was THE 4 to the floor technoid ebm beat 81 ( 😮 ) that everybody loves who is into electronic machine music ⚙️( i know DAF was first but Front 242 were pure electronic drums)

Damm ! God gave us : Front242, Nitzer Ebb and Depeche Mode Those guys are not producing lousy, easy, simply accescible stupid love and feel good songs... Quite the opposite ! But they always open the door to an alternative and another/better world ... 49 y old but still they influence me enormously... 12 y old when i went (by bike for 50m) for my first DM concert and now i have more than 300 visits to the 3 aforementioned bands on my curriculum...& still keep digging them ! Body temperature now rising to above normal level, pupils dilatating, heartbeat greatly increasing and tongue numbness indicators are appearing to indicate approaching delirium level just by writing this... It’s not just capitalist opportunism that incited DM to have F242 and NE opening their awesome performances All this drives me back to my first Kraftwerk vynil when i was eight ...
