Great footage! Saw F242 as a support band for Depeche Mode on late 1987 and got strongly involved and fascinated with their music at that time, unlike the most of the Milan’s gig audience…

I had the extreme pleasure of seeing them last night here in Dallas, Tx at Granada theater ( small venue ) and being able to touch the stage all night. Leather Strip opened and he was fucking amazing. The after party was at Lizard Lounge and I got to meet Jean Luc upstairs with Leather Strip ( Claus Larsen ) only by accident because a girl came up to me and said she's knows Front 242. I followed her upstairs to the VIP area, neither of us had paid the VIP package for a meet and greet. But she actually knows Claus and we just blended in with about 7 other people. I got a picture with Jean Luc and Claus Larsen. Only the second time I have ever seen 242. I am 45 now and probably won't ever get to see them again, because they rarely come to the states.

Saw them in the early 90s -I guess- in Paris, as guest, with Dépêche Mode. Anyway, Front242 is so impressive on stage, as most Belgian bands are. Massive sound, no double thought, straight in your face. I don’t know their secret. There must be something.

When i saw them here in Deutschland at the beginning of the 2000 ( Bochum my hometown ) A chapter of my life ended Happy and full of Ebm inspiration Thx !!! Body to body was THE 4 to the floor technoid ebm beat 81 ( 😮 ) that everybody loves who is into electronic machine music ⚙️( i know DAF was first but Front 242 were pure electronic drums)

What a great look inside the inner workings of one of my favourite bands of all time. I had no idea that Foufs in Montreal (still around) was partially responsible for saving that tour with Wax Trax! Records. I hope to catch them again soon, it's been 5 years since I saw them last.

To me it's funny how they talk about evil and off. They where the albums that introduced me to F242 in the early 90s and are still my favourite albums. What they thought was musical suicide was actually genius, way ahead of its time.

6:07 live, the manic energy of R23 opposes and balances the dour, stalwart, stoicism of Jean Luc. This living study of contrasts sets up Patrick to be the puppet master directing both of them. But those with eyes to see, stand by the sound board and watch Daniel B. sculpt it all into an amazing live experience.

Damm ! God gave us : Front242, Nitzer Ebb and Depeche Mode Those guys are not producing lousy, easy, simply accescible stupid love and feel good songs... Quite the opposite ! But they always open the door to an alternative and another/better world ... 49 y old but still they influence me enormously... 12 y old when i went (by bike for 50m) for my first DM concert and now i have more than 300 visits to the 3 aforementioned bands on my curriculum...& still keep digging them ! Body temperature now rising to above normal level, pupils dilatating, heartbeat greatly increasing and tongue numbness indicators are appearing to indicate approaching delirium level just by writing this... It’s not just capitalist opportunism that incited DM to have F242 and NE opening their awesome performances All this drives me back to my first Kraftwerk vynil when i was eight ...

Just a bare fact: the defense of Donetsk Airport was lasting for 242 days. Ukrainian fighters (known as "cyborgs") against the prevailing Russian and LDNR separatist forces. How did Front 242 knew it back in 1981? 🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦
@Spurdospaerde6922 жыл бұрын
Best of all, the operation began on 24/2. Leave it to German or Russian warfare, you always get the proper EBM aesthetics.
@WeltSchmerz13492 жыл бұрын
@@Spurdospaerde692 And now, you'll see more and more of Ukrainian warfare. Russians are only good in waging missile war against civilians - on the battlefield, those cowards SUCK.
@WeltSchmerz13492 жыл бұрын
P.S.: oh sorry, their missile raids becoming worse as well - during the massive attack this Monday, 44 of 50 missiles were intercepted. Our air defense weapons are better, and our operators are more skilled day by day. And yeah, desperate mobilization of untrained folks or buying Irani drones made of hay and turds - it's not EBM aesthetics, it's a fcuking shame. Ukrainian defense is where you should find it.
