People need to question authority, not believe everything they are told unless they themselves also choose to obtain the education to actually make educated decisions. Even in the modern world, we as individuals do not have full access to the tools necessary to carry out any and every experiment necessary to make an educated decision… and so, it is often a guessing game we play with our own lives in these collectives we call communities, which then make up societies. There is one thing I and many others have experienced first hand though; and that is the fact that bullies that want power are willing to use violence, coercion, deception, all to gain what it is they want. And when a bully is also cunning, they may even manage to become a political leader, corporate leader, banking leader, military leader, etc… You can blame anyone for anything you want to, but that does not make it true, nor will it make you happy, fulfilled, grateful, nor satisfied. We should hold ourselves and those responsable, accountable for things which they choose to act upon or react to. Address these issues, discuss these issues openly, with freedom of speech, do our best to not be so overcome by emotions and easily offended by disagreements, grow as a humanity all together upon this same planet. I will never understand people who take Marx's work as pure works of "ideology", as in political ideology. That is one part of his work. Marx influenced things such as economics, literary criticism, historiography, sociology, philosophy, etc. To lump him in as a political ideologies is a very reductionist way of describing him, unless that's your goal of course.
