I have an 86 FZ600 that sat for years. Me and my son finally got to it last year and got her running. Fuel cock and tank were a b**** to find. And the boots between the airbox and the carburetor, forget about it. Cost more in parts to get her running than she is worth. Yeah those stock tires are skinny. I slapped on a wider one than stock back in the day and it looked wide at the time. But now it looks skinny. So I can imagine how skinny the stock one would look.😄 I also have an 84 500 Interceptor that's been sitting. Can't find a tank for it. Not looking forward to working on that one. Can't imagine the horrors working on that one because it has hydraulics and is liquid cooled. And the issue if trying to get get parts and the cost again.
