Gaunts main here, dlight and dair are your best friends onstage and offstage respectively, also dair -> recovery on stage is one hell of a killer move, especially in my experience, I am also a Blasters main, I would say something but I cannot play blasters efficiently if my life counted on it

As someone with a severe stutter, I wanted to be treated like how everyone else is treated, I don’t want special treatment. So if I were to become a commentator, and I don’t perform at the same level as other casters do, I’m not going to make a big deal about it when I get replaced. I've kind of been feeling this way about TK on the Smash side of things for years so it's kind of cathartic to see other's begin to make note of this as well. TK used to be one of the best commentators Smash had to offer but within the last couple of years it's been about as lively as the clips you've shown here. So this just confirms it all for me, he just doesn't enjoy commentary anymore. Even in his content and streams his vibes are just so dry, low and...kind of miserable. The ego tripping is kind of crazy too, like I can guarantee you his response to this would boil down to "Why dont you just come talk to me instead of making a video about me?" but if you try to talk to him about /anything/ he does wrong he will just shut you down and make you feel like an idiot. TK. Your commentary has gotten stale, you clearly dont care anymore and refuse to listen to criticism. Stop trying to act like you want to improve because you already think you're perfect. Step aside and let people who actually want to be on the mic, be there, instead of hogging it for your own ego.

The hate on Dara is 80% ableism, english is my second language, I have a big problem with certain accents and sometimes don't understand them, I thought for quite a while Dara just had one of those accents and that never bothered me. I was able to understand every single word they said on 2 out of the 3 clips on the video. Yes, it is ideal for a caster to have a "neutral" accent and no speech impediments so viewers can understand them, but I feel like wanting to put Dara out of the casting job for something like that is crazy talk, they bring energy, they have done research on the game and know what's happening

Scythe is much more spammable and learner friendly than either GS or boots. Scythe is my lest played weapon but even with my just my game knowledge I can easily out-space people. Gimping recoveries is easy, there’s no punishment for whiffing, and combos are optional with huge hit boxes.

I don't know anything about Brawlhalla but I knew before even watching the video that the problem would be Smash casters being added to the lineup. That community is terrible. All the issues you said they caused in this video also happens at every Smash tourney I've seen. Many casters won't talk about the match and argue "Its a long tourney, I wanna go home" as if this isn't their job. They know as little about the game as I do, but will just make up stuff and speak from authority, causing a lot of misinformation. Dara's speech impediment is always criticized in Smash tourneys I've seen as well. The community will call you a bigot for complaining and say you have bad hearing if you respond that you can't understand what Dara is saying.
