rogue waves are crazy and happens often around Block Island. What side of the island were you guys fishing? SW it comes up to about 20-30 ft from like 80-100 so it can happen a lot there.

thanks for the comment. we were on the west side but we were still in 75ft so did not expect that

Block Island sound is as dangerous a place as there is on the east coast.. Off the Block, wind against tide is a perfect recipe for a rogue wave!

That set of rogue waves was really weird. Goes to show how unpredictable and fickle mother nature can be. Happy to be watching this in the dry, Southern England. Thanks for the film.

Great place to go for crappie. The 10" limit is killing the number you can harvest though. Fish Creek, the Indian river and rossi are great places for crappie.

Disappointed you kept the big one. Most of those are female. Releasing them helps to keep the excellent fishery we enjoy at Block Island going. The pressure Nantucket Shoals receives is already showing changes in the number and size of fluke being caught.
@reelsweetfishing
@reelsweetfishing Жыл бұрын
Always a difficult decision whether to keep a fish or not. I would estimate that we don't keep over 75% of the fish we catch, but this was a tournament winning fish.
