Block Island Flukin, a ROGUE WAVE out of nowhere and otherwise a great day

Our second trip to Block was fogless and full of fish. We had a great time. Right after reeling n a small fluke we got knocked on our butts from a big rogue wave that we weren't expecting., We were fishing in 3 footers and this set had to be a solid 7 footers. That why we ALWAYS KEEP A FOOT UNDER, A HAND ON, and lifejackets just because.

Block Island sound is as dangerous a place as there is on the east coast.. Off the Block, wind against tide is a perfect recipe for a rogue wave!

rogue waves are crazy and happens often around Block Island. What side of the island were you guys fishing? SW it comes up to about 20-30 ft from like 80-100 so it can happen a lot there.
