When I first started I got Harbor Freight but realized it was too heavy to carry around and didn't want to damage the customer's floor with that weight. Ended up getting All-Dolly and LiftCart

After using All Dolly for about 6 times now. Its great! but they should not have put the knobs towards the cabinet side its cumbersome.

I use an all dollie for service, it is great. The Harbor Freight cart is better for new installation, tried using one for service, hatted it.

Hi. Can anyone tell me what type of Bullet Piercing Valve he's using with the built in valve stem? I noticed when he hooked up the low side gauge, you can hear a little bit of refrigerant escape from the system.

How much would the customer pay for a leaking fix/refilling etc.? I'm a fraid in Germany it might be cheaper to just get a new fridge instead. Even though I'm not happy with throwing away stuff if I don't need to.

It's all very nice, but with the new R600a and R290, it makes all this equipment obsolete. You can't even use them vacuum pumps for flammable refrigerant. Handy Flux ,no good, you will broil more copper tubing with that Handy Flux. Get Ultra Flux instead (made by the same people) Ultra Flux, takes right away boom. But it doesn't matter, everybody is using lokring solderless joints.

I got a 40$ 2 Mghz 2 probes oscilosope and i installed a battery in it , so now its fantastic . Much better then that voltmeter unimer. I use SANWA PC510 , its good for last 10 years working liek a charm , does detect frequency but up to 1Khz , but i can do all that with scope .

What's the purpose of hot loop gas. Thirdly instead of using valves I saw on your other video u used some couplings connectors I forgot the name of that I need it how much is it and were did u buy it for how much. With these connector u don't need to put valves , u just put these connectors on pipe, which saves u lots of money from brazing valves. These connectors have different sizes if I'm not mistaken.

I also would like to know aren't they prone to leak I can trust them. Because I know the ones u wer using are metal and from other peoples videos some use plastic coupler connector I don't know how long they last or it's lifetime until it gets damaged.

How is the hot loop connected in general to the system, be cause I know that it's from the compressor to discharge pipe to condenser coil to filter to tube to evaporator to suction pipe to compressor

Hi Sir, When charging Refrigerator with r600 using needle valve charge, and knowing the backpressure is less than zero at the fully charged, Do you think that atmosphere pressure will press down the needle , and let the air goes inside the fridge if we didn’t but the cap on? Thanks

OK...I fixed this problem in my GE Profile Microwave oven this way. There are three microswitches, one above the other. The two upper microswitches are wired to normally open and normally closed. The bottom one, which has that extra cam is not the one which usually fails. When the door is closed, they switch over. The problem is that if the door is not totally square to the front of the oven, or it twists, the switches have a chance to not activate consecutively and form a dead short which blows the breaker. I got sick of this problem and got a DPDT limit switch, cut a hole in the upper part of the grid over the removable plastic box for the wiring and mounted the switch in a way, that when the door is closed, the switch is activated. ONE SWITCH ACTIVATION CONTACT POINT, not TWO to throw the switch. That way the twist in the door is irrelevant. I then got male spade connectors and put them in the connectors for the NO and NC switch connectors and wired the outputs to the new switch NO and NC connections (4 points, total) with short lengths of wire. This switch breaks before make and that function is the secret to why it will reliably work. It works great. I used a limit switch from an old molding machine. A Square D switch or other type of 2p2t snap action switch could be used and bracketed into the front of the microwave neatly. The switches have to be rated at least 10 amps at 120VAC. If you do this, don't do it sloppy. Your wife will get pissed at you. This is an inherent design flaw in this microwave. The way I fixes retains the safety interlocks and eliminates the problem of door and hinge twist. You GE folks should take notes. Doing it cheap is not necessarily doing it OK....and yes, I am going to be smug about it.

Dang girl, you should focus on you understanding the refrigeration cycle then the components before you worry about what all these other " techs" you ve seen doing stuff. Nobody monitors how much gas you put in with a " thermo gun " that's not what they are doing. Exactly.

First of all great instructional video. So to simplify things for the benefit of your students to understand it correctly, I'm a welder of many years and whenever I had to weld pipe that was stainless steel we would have to put a purge gas known as argon into the pipe that was to be welded to keep the inside of the pipe oxygen free so that the weld would not become crystallized or otherwise known as sugaring the inside of the pipe. The Purge acts as a barrier against oxygen to keep porosity away from the weld zone . In the refrigeration industry, when welding with silver solder, I believe this practice is also followed to keep the welds pure inside and out. You don't want porosity in your weld on any kind of piping when it is under pressure because porosity equals holes and those holes in turn in your weld equals introducing oxygen back into the pipe which can eventually allow the freon to leak out of the system you are working on. In the pipeline industry if the weld joint has porosity in it the porosity in the weld joint has to be cut out, and the pipe re-welded with the purge gas flowing through the pipe continuously once again. In stainless steel pipe welding, the only purge gas used for the tig welding process is argon, but in the refrigeration industry, though the purge gas is nitrogen. Simply put, in the refrigeration industry when you guys are pressurizing the system with nitrogen you guys are all just basically checking for leaks in the piping where the braised welding joints are or along any part of the pipe that might have a hole in it due to manufacturing error and so forth. As you mentioned before, as the instructor, the nitrogen pressure test is basically a leak down test. Once the leak down test has been deemed good, then the nitrogen is let out of the pipe into the atmosphere because it is non-hazardous to humans or the environment . After which, the technician will perform a vacuum on the equipment to suck all oxygen out of the system. Once all that is done the service tech will close off all valves to keep the vacuum in the system before hooking up to the freon so that it can be sucked back into the system as the atmospheric pressure inside the compressor sucks the freon back into the system then the system can be run continuously until the next time it needs to be serviced because of a run capacitor or a start capacitor or an electrical issue, a circuit board issue, or a leak develops in the system for more troubleshooting to be done once again.

I always press stop before opening the door to help protect the primary door switch. The relay on the control board is more resilient than the primary door switch. My mother kept going through primary door switches. I noticed it was because she was constantly opening the door to stop the high voltage side. This arcs the primary switch and leads to early failure.

A little trick l do take the cap tube and push in the dryer in till it hit dryer screen push out little bit & bend the cap tube only sand the bend cap tube the solder won’t clogged the cap due to its still dirty at the end and it will never get clogged of solder. Other think you could use a turbo torch on seal system use a number #1 or #2 tip been doing commercial refrigeration for over 28 years if you know how to braze and move heat over pipe.My opinion it’s over kill using oxygen & acetylene only time l use rigid is bigger pipe and putting in refrigeration valves you really don’t have lug that rigid .
