Well, if there's one thing I've learned from this it's that urushi can cause rash and I should wear gloves while working with it.

How use this art to repair a ceramic lamp with missing pieces ?
@ax214025 күн бұрын
Yes. I really liked the short clips but wanna know what steps to take. A lot of people pretend they know Kintsugi or that it is an easy thing with kits and such. I don’t believe them.

I have the kit. Im looking to repair a few dragon scale cups and a pitcher. The bottom of the pitcher was shattered around where there isnt glaze. The neck is tight. How do I do the inside of it?

I love Kintsugi so much, as a ceramist in the making, this will be my next thing to learn. Kintsugi just highlights the uniqueness of a broken piece and makes it even more endearing... your work is flawless❤

Thanks so much for this tutorial, thoroughly enjoyed it. Your kit will be my birthday present to myself, best kit I've seen on the market, so excited for it 🍶🖌💙

I love how though and THOROUGH the instruction is !! I gained confidence going about it just by watching the video. I've been having very vague idea and always thought without the kind of professional humid box I can't ever do it. Thank you for this. I'll do it on my chipped off wooden plate I love.

That was so much more complicated and harder than I ever imagined. It really made me respect this art so much more. Kudos to whoever made this- that was amazing work. I had no idea it was that complicated and took that long.🤯🥇

I came here to learn how to repair a large, gorgeous bowl made from volcanic ash of the island where I was born. Decided it would be much easier to send out for repair. Then quickly realized that would cost more than my mortgage. 😢 Even ordering enough kits would cost big money. 😔

Approximately how much of the urushi in the packages you sell would a repair like this require? I have a large repair on a plant pot and want to buy one of your packages, but I’m not sure how much urushi I will need.

Are you immune to the urushi? I noticed you’ve gotten it on your fingers in two separate videos. Or maybe I’m mistaking it for another brown substance in the videos?

Can kokuso urishi be made with ceramic powder instead of wood powder?
@theoriginaltubeofyousАй бұрын
Ceramic powder would be better as a substitute for tonoko in the sabi-urushi. You could try cellulose powder to substitute in for the wood powder, it's sold as a food supplement and is something I was going to try in my gintsukuroi kokuso.
