De nuevo digo lo mismo que en el otro video: Se transmite muy bien el placer de conducirlos, son coches sin pretensiones pero que ruedan de maravilla.

Suena muy bien para ser un sencillo 850 o mejor dicho para ser un sencillo Mini en general. Se transmite muy bien la sensación al conducirlo y aquí es donde te das cuenta de que tenemos muy buenas carreteras para rodar nuestros clásicos alejados del tráfico diario

Hola, ese "Mini Marcos" el realmente un derivado del Mini convencional o solo comparte el nombre por su tamaño? No se parece nada salvo en el tamaño.

Es una variante con carrocería aerodinámica de fibra de vidrio, fabricado por una empresa ajena a la marca pero utilizando la mecánica y los subchasis del Mini normal.

I remember these from chilhood holidays in Spain during the 1970s. They weren't an uncommon sight during/at the end of Spain's closed car market. I remember thinking, (even as a kid), "Why don't they sell this in the UK?" Obviously an ADO16 centre section, but easy to see the Michelotti design at either end. You see a few listed for sale on Milanuncios and the like in Spain, (even today). Spain is a great place to hunt for classics.

The problem is that people here tend to ask too much money for old cars despite their condition and the laws here are not as friendly as in the UK.

@@RobinTheMini I've been involved with 'classics' since the late '90s, and have had a personal interest since the '70s. (Mind you, it doesn't half make you feel old when your old 'every day hack' is now fetching tens-of-thousands!😂) The old 'fast fords' have gone through the roof! Again, I remember when the so-called 'hot hatch' fad kicked off in the early '80s. You couldn't give an RS2000 away, (metaphorically speaking😁). I also remember someone struggling to get £7K for a Jensen Interceptor circa 1997. But yes, to the best of my knowledge, that's true about Spain. Hasn't it always been a bit like that? I know when I've looked at 'normal' used car listings, ten, fifteen, even twenty-year-old cars, which would be 'bargain basement' in the UK, are listed for many, many €1000s+. Maybe the ZBE zones will change that? Indeed. The UK's +40 no tax or mot, and clsssic insurance? And yes, you have to watch what you're doing. But finding something like a Chrysler 180/2-litre/Diesel, or a SEAT 132 with absolutely no rot, is just a joy to behold to a saddo like me! I'd Hoover up the lot if I had the space!
