I was once called out to that bridge believe it or not because of a small tree growing out of it for the heritage trust, I found it bizarre but interesting and it led me to do some research and found it interesting to follow Salters Lane which surprised me to find it lead me back home near Salters Gate.

Mate, I’m at the same guesthouse now. Probably because you told me about it. My room is at the back where you stayed but being filthy rich my room has air con and a fridge. (US$15) The lady that owns the GH is not aware that you posted such a good rap re her GH on UTube. She has copied the link from me so she can watch with her family. She seemed over the moon about being on UTube Well done

US$ 15?? Wow you are rich lol :) I loved Kampong Chhnang. No tourists or backpackers, just an authentic Cambodian town :) Hope your travels are going well?

Fairy stream was formed by a hillside erosion. It used to have more sandstone sculpture than it has now making it looked gorgeous. Not sure why they collapsed. Sad. There are areas which are wider with the red tall hillside, not seen here in your video. A nice place to visit and preserve for other people to see.

Hi Stu. Holes in the mulch pile may have been from wild Brush Turkeys looking for grubs and such. 'Evil' cane toads are introduced pests that poison native wildlife, stock, and pets. They are the devil's work, and I humanely euthanise cane toads with a clear conscience. I love our animals. Looks like a mammoth project. I'm missing the winters up north already. Cheers. 🙂

On such a large land I was wondering if you’ve ever seen any snakes as everybody is always talking about snakes in Australia. The land seems safe and dogs are running around freely.

Hello Stu..... your doing a great job - I'm sure your friend will be impressed on his return. Could even be a new career in horticulture around the corner - although, being myself involved in the horticultural industry for 20years, I would recommend travelling. It's nice that Albert follows you everwhere - perhaps he can dig some holes for your plants. Cheers from Keith in Adelaide (now in Thailand)

Glad to see you’re on your travels :) have you any plans of where you’re going? I can’t see a career in this gardening thing! I’m definitely a backpacker lol

@@olderbackpacker Hello Stu.... I stay until 10Aug in Thailand (Hua Hin, Chiang Mai/ Rai, Kanchanaburi and Koh Chang are must see's), then Siem Reap (7days), Vietnam (I'll probably follow your footsteps), then (I think) Malaysia and (Bali). I am thinking of the Philippines as well. Enjoy the gardening 😎🇦🇺

Hello down under. Tip 1 Wear long pants and long-sleeved shirts to make it harder for leeches to attach to your skin. It also helps to wear enclosed closed shoes and tuck your pants into your socks to avoid gaps in your clothing. Use insect repellent. Tip 2 Chat up the garden centre guys to see if you can borrow a mini digger to move the soil in exchange for buying loads of plants. Tip 3 don't forget the snakes 😉 Tip 4 Have fun 🎉❤
@olderbackpacker18 күн бұрын
Tip 4 was the hardest to take on ha ha… but it was worthwhile when I finished :) I’m glad I didn’t see any snakes!
