Hey on that control how do you put the float position? I have one just like it and it’s driving me nuts. Also, how do you turn off the float as well? Thank you! I think they say press a button and the back button at the same time? I can’t find the answer anywhere.

Love my 2023 X1100c! Getting a lot done around the place, hauling wood, brush. dirt and even rocks. KInda fun to hit the trails from time to time as well. Got about 38 hrs and 445 miles on her already and I've been loving every minute!

I have an x1100c and the dealer wants $15k for a blower and k-connect system. Would you buy that setup again or go with a tractor and blower? Looking for your honest opinion before I make the commitment!

I have the exact machine. Put about 200 lbs of bagged sand/ salt in the bed for counter weight and some mud tires on it and you’ll push snow right through those woods. These things are a beast.

You keep going over the same line because the snow falls back in with every pass. A snowblower eliminates that.

I have ordered a 2022 model with the HDW tires. I never see anyone on KZbin running tire chains when plowing snow. I live in the Colorado foothills and my dealer tells me he doesn't know anyone who runs them with chains, just not a pleasant ride. My driveways are relatively flat, but the roads to/from are fairly steep. We may get a slushy spring snow, but hardly ever ice. I found on my John Deere 2320 (current plow machine) I absolutely have to chain up the rear worksite tires in the winter. Thoughts?

Can I make a suggestion get yourself a piece of tin and some hose clamps and put it around the mouth of that blower and instead of having a snow blow in front of you it'll blow out I did that with mine and it works like a dream

Great video. What is the clearance with the PTO unit attached to the undercarriage? Our 1100c & snowblower is ordered - I am concerned about the clearance and using it for things other than snow removal. Thank you
@banger13222 жыл бұрын
Hi that is a downside you only have around 5 inches under the pto and for snow season it's really not a big deal for me as I don't really use my rtv for anything other than plowing / snowblowing or on a occasion I will use it to move snow piles that get to big. During the summer I remove the pto setup due to needing the extra clearance off road but I leave the front frame work and hydraulic unit on because I have other attachments for it and I use it like a dump truck .
@kenmcdonaldii38872 жыл бұрын
@@banger1322 Not having received our kubota yet, I didn’t realize that you can take off the PTO but leave the hydraulic unit on. I think that is what I will do. Thanks!
@banger13222 жыл бұрын
@@kenmcdonaldii3887 make sure that you tell the dealer you want the factory skid plates they take off to install the pto so when you take it off you can put them back on. It takes about 1/2 hr to a hr to remove it depending on your mechanical skills. To remove it you will have to remove 3 skid plates 2 small sides and 1 big rear. You will then unhook the pto shaft in front underneath it's just a quick connector pull the collar back and slide it off. Then there is 1 electrical connector just unplug it you might have a zip tie or 2 you have to cut or not depending on the way the dealer installs it. Your going to need to get the rear about a foot and a half to 2 feet off the ground and put some jackstands under it. Then take a floor jack and put it under the low point of the pto and jack it up unit there is a little pressure on it. Then you can remove the 6 bolts 3 on each and slowly lower it about 3 inches. Now you have 1 bolt going through the upper pto shaft going to the front of the motor but make sure that you disconnect the side that is attached to the engine. Now you can slowly lower it all the way down and remove the jack. You will have to lift the front of the pto frame up and off the 2 pins and then it's off. Install the factory skid plate you got back from the dealer and the rear one you had to remove to get the pto off and you are done. This may sound hard but trust me it's nothing. Please feel free to ask me any questions or if anyone has any video ideas you might like to see me do just message me and I will try to do my best. Thanks

Great videos, I have been thinking about purchasing an x1100c, but not many videos of individuals doing real work. Your video showing it pulling the bulldozer sold me. I have steep property and looking for something that has the torque to go up the hills. I don't need to go fast, but just need to go up steep hills to get firewood and land maintenance. Do you have any thoughts of its ability going up steep hills? Thank you! and keep these great videos coming! Also, would love to see a video of how you remove the PTO system, as I am also reluctant to purchase the PTO system because of the ground clearance concerns. Thanks so much again!!@@banger1322

I appreciate the effort you are investing to create these insightful videos. You have both the V Blade and the Snow Blower. Have you developed a preference or favorite? Stay well.
@banger13222 жыл бұрын
So this is a very complicated question for me seeing I love them both but if I had no choice but to pick one I would have to go with the V plow and that is because with the snowblower it's a little slower going and that is not to big of a problem for me as I only do 4 big driveways but it is nice because you don't have to chase wind rows usually 1 pass and it's good and you can throw it far away so no big piles at the end of your driveway or wherever. The biggest downside would be the slushy crap you have to go slow so it doesn't clog and if someone leaves something out and you don't see it you can snap shear pins. That said I would definitely advise you to buy a bag of 5 or 10 spare shear pins of both sizes and keep them under the seat that is what I do so I'm never stuck . 2 1/2" wrenches and 2 7/16" wrenches and you can replace a broken shear pin in 5 minutes. Now with the V plow it doesn't matter how wet it is and the only thing that you might break is a hydraulic hose but that's very unlikely unless you don't maintain your machine every season. The V plow will stack snow piles really high believe it or not and if the snow is really deep like in one of my videos you will have to chase the snow the V can only hold so much before it spills over as it is still just a side by side not a pickup truck. Like I said it's a tough one I really love the snowblower but the V plow is probably more reliable seeing it won't break shear pins or clog. I just got a great deal on a package deal with both and having the option to switch is definitely nice but thinking about it I probably use the V plow the most. Thanks for viewing

Thanks and as long as people like them and want more I will gladly keep making them. I started doing this because there was hardly anything out there for information about kubota rtv's and nothing showing what they truly are capable of doing without destroying them and as everyone can see I work it hard and push it's limits but since new in 2016 I have not done anything but general maintenance and 1 axle shaft to it. The axle was 100% my own fault because I had a cab & chassis truck stuck and I was trying to push it out with the rtv but kept spinning the wheels so I put the plow under the frame of the truck and lifted it up as much as it would pick it and started rocking on and off the power and with the extra down pressure on the front wheels the shaft snapped. Other than that nothing has broken this thing is rock solid and rock slow lol. Please subscribe like and share and thanks to everyone who supports my channel

I have zero faith in Kubota, I bought a Kubota zero turn mower and a sensor fell off one of the handles. Was supposed to be still under warranty, service dealer claims a stick from a tree must have pushed it off. There for i had to pay $180 bucks to fix it. I DON'T HAVE ANY TREES IN MY YARD! Ready to trade it off for a Altoz mower, with a hydraulic push blade and tracks. Got 26 hours on Kubota now, paid 5k not worth 50 bucks
@banger13222 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry you have had problems with your machine and it sounds like the dealer you bought it to is probably the biggest problem. I have found some dealers are better than others and I actually switched because of their customer service sucked and just all around were rude everytime I went there. I can't speak from experience but my good friend has a 72" diesel zero turn and I think it's going 6 or 7 years and other than general maintenance the only thing he has done is a fuel pump. I have ran my kubota very very hard and other than general maintenance and 1 axle shaft that was my fault for doing something I shouldn't have but that's a different story lol. Everything kubota I have ran or owned or friends have have been pretty much problem free. I wouldn't give up on the brand just maybe your dealership and also every brand no matter what it is will always have a few problems it's just the nature of things build.
