This V plow is a sweet set up and it also has down pressure for that heavy stuck snow.

I have the exact machine. Put about 200 lbs of bagged sand/ salt in the bed for counter weight and some mud tires on it and you’ll push snow right through those woods. These things are a beast.

Nice plow rig. I also have the 1100C with a 7ft plow on front of it. Here in eastern Canada we get a lot of snow and this setup amazes me every time I use it.

We have been using one since 2014 with the boss vplow to clear 10 apartment buildings we will never use trucks again. The only downside is they are highly susceptible to rust make sure you wash it as often as you can if you use a lot of salt
@banger13223 жыл бұрын
I have heard good things about the boss but I like the kubota version because of the k connect setup I can add different attachments and I have a pto I can utilize to run a hydraulic pump or other attachments I might modify to work with it but other than that ya these kubota's push as good as a pickup truck.

Kubota rtv imo are the best. They're like the Toyota Hilux of rtv. Not great but good at everything. Ample power. And versatile
@banger13223 жыл бұрын
I'm kinda on the same page with you but I would compare a kubota rtv x1100c to a old Willeys or power wagon it strong as hell reliable and will pull a house down. It's the best work or farm side by side and most comfortable with the heat and air conditioning but if you want a toy this is NOT it at all!!!

I'm very happy with this and as anything you can always find something that could be better. The controller is the downfall it's just not user-friendly for angle as straight blade you need to push 2 buttons at the same time and for floating same thing. I would love to see a controller like a fisher v plow

It’s too bad they don’t have a shuttle shift on these. That forward to reverse shift sucks when it all bound up
@banger13223 жыл бұрын
I found holding the brakes and letting the pressure off the transmission helps with a load on it but if there is no load I let off the brakes and lightly tap the pedal and it usually helps. I'm surprised kubota has not addressed this problem yet.

My dealer dropped on of these off at my house to try out. It had the snow blower on it. On a Black Top Drive you can't get traction with the tires. The tires just spin on the driveway. The dealer put on a set of after market tracks and rear worked better but was just about useless because the turning distance was so great I had to do a lot of backing up to turn it around. I ended up getting a LX3310.
@banger13222 жыл бұрын
I am very surprised because if you watch any of my videos I don't have anything for weight in the back and most of the time I run in 2 wheel drive no diff lock. Might have been the tires it had I have the heavy duty work site tires and this is great

@@banger1322 I have ordered a 2022 model with the HDW tires. I never see anyone on KZbin running tire chains when plowing snow. I live in the Colorado foothills and my dealer tells me he doesn't know anyone who runs them with chains, just not a pleasant ride. My driveways are relatively flat, but the roads to/from are fairly steep. We may get a slushy spring snow, but hardly ever ice. I found on my John Deere 2320 (current plow machine) I absolutely have to chain up the rear worksite tires in the winter. Thoughts?

How long does it take you to clear your drive. You keep running the snow off the end of the plow and doing that over and over and over. Your only pushing a little snow. Like I said many times. This does not have the power to clear snow.
@banger13222 жыл бұрын
So it a hard question seeing this storm was about 13 inches of snow and the area I am plowing is about half to 3/4 of a football field and only a 78" wide plow I would have say about 45 minutes. This machine is far from weak and I have never had anything stop it from moving not even pulling my 11,000 lbs bulldozer with the blade digging video of that is on my channel
@ronfox5519 Жыл бұрын
Alot of pickup truck blades are the same size as what he's running. Having spillover is just the nature of the beast unless you got a county truck running at 35mph.

I apologize for the late response I am not getting my notifications but with the snowblower it's a little loud because of running it high rpm's but I don't find it bothering me and you get used to it. Just run your rtv wide open at idle and that's what it sounds like with the snowblower. Once you lock your rpm where you want it the machine works like a tractor. I hope this helps if not please let me know thanks

Why the first pass if your just gonna plow it under. Work smarter not harder

You keep going over the same line because the snow falls back in with every pass. A snowblower eliminates that.

I have zero faith in Kubota, I bought a Kubota zero turn mower and a sensor fell off one of the handles. Was supposed to be still under warranty, service dealer claims a stick from a tree must have pushed it off. There for i had to pay $180 bucks to fix it. I DON'T HAVE ANY TREES IN MY YARD! Ready to trade it off for a Altoz mower, with a hydraulic push blade and tracks. Got 26 hours on Kubota now, paid 5k not worth 50 bucks
@banger13222 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry you have had problems with your machine and it sounds like the dealer you bought it to is probably the biggest problem. I have found some dealers are better than others and I actually switched because of their customer service sucked and just all around were rude everytime I went there. I can't speak from experience but my good friend has a 72" diesel zero turn and I think it's going 6 or 7 years and other than general maintenance the only thing he has done is a fuel pump. I have ran my kubota very very hard and other than general maintenance and 1 axle shaft that was my fault for doing something I shouldn't have but that's a different story lol. Everything kubota I have ran or owned or friends have have been pretty much problem free. I wouldn't give up on the brand just maybe your dealership and also every brand no matter what it is will always have a few problems it's just the nature of things build.
