What world did you install? Yes the xml is in english but I could exract the xml in hungarian for you and provide the link here for download. You would then replace the package file with the new one

Good question. You can do this by how you name your catagories as well as the ability to drag sets you can organize however works best for you.

Enabling xmp shouldn’t harm yr computer but depending on yr cpu it may not be able to handle the overclock. One thing you could try is clearing the cmos on the mb. Take out the battery and wait 5 seconds and put it back. Make sure yr psu is unplugged and hold down the power button for a few seconds to release any electrical charge left first. Here’s well said instructions I found on Quora (After that go back in your BIOS - all settings will be reset - and enable XMP again, but this time look for the voltage on the memory controller. At least on AMD it’s called “SoC voltage”, and it’s safe to set it to up around 1.2V (but maybe try 1.1V first - and if it doesn’t work again, just repeat the same procedure, with the reset and everything, and this time set it to 1.2V Not sure about Intel, as I don’t have one, but google for this and for sure you’ll find something. If it doesn’t work even at 1.2V, do NOT continue increasing the voltage further! Instead, manually set up your RAM speeds and timings, to something lower than XMP, that your CPU can handle normally. Pay attention to DRAM voltage too, as this is not set automatically when not using the XMP profile, and most RAM kits need 1.35V to reach their advertised speeds (as opposed to the default JEDEC voltages)

Do you have nonas ccmerged package file? It goes in your overrides folder. There's some more instructions but just asking this first. Premium store items need a certain fix in order to show most the time.Edit> Sorry I should of asked if you downloaded the bw lot as well. Have you tried pressing F1? This is the default hotkey for menu

@@KozyKubGam3r I did but it ended up being a hotkey for switching to build mode. I also changed the hotkey just now to make it work, so I'm not sure if there's an alternative way to bring it up.

Try Shift F2 or Home.. I switched mine to F1 and also forgot about the in game hotkey being build and live mode I believe, but once you bring up the overlay find a key that works. I have yet to do the same again. Sorry for that

Yes I've heard of this. It might be a number of different things. Windows defender could be blocking something. Try disabling it when downloading and installing. Also corrupt cc can cause this. Make sure you have the proper framework and visual c++ . Also check for any malware or viruses. Check to to see that ccmagic might have placed files in electronic arts folder rather than in ccmagic folder itself where they should be. Restart yr pc. Another thing you can try is moving the config file so documents>electronic arts>ccmagic folder to yr desktop and see if it opens then. Otherwise I'm really not sure. The program is so old and no updates for it for years. It is kind of clunky. I might even switch to sims 3 mod manager myself soon

Sorry I had no idea it’s not compatible with Spanish game. Are your mods not showing in any folders either? Cc magic does keep a backup of them. If you have a lot of cc and really need to compress them there is an alternative called s3pe. Let me know if you need any help if you decide to try it. Also check yr electronic arts>ccmagic> content> packages folder and see if yr content is there.

@@KozyKubGam3r I managed to solve it idk how, i remade the mod folders a hundred times and deleted all traces of cc magic 😅 luckily i didn't lose anything because I didn't had any cc beforehand

Oh sorry, I’ve heard this with others with lower end pc’s with little RAM (4gb) and also if using an HDD. But if you’re on a mid range to better I’m not quite sure what factors play into why it wouldn’t make any difference at all

@@Idk34227 That's enough to run the game yes but depending on your graphic card (being a low end laptop I'm assuming it's integrated Intel?) and depending on how much space you have on your drive with some other variables to consider, then no the smooth patch won't make much of a difference if at all unfortunately. I would suggest getting a mid range gaming desktop if you can with at least 16gb ram for multi tasking and having a ssd drive specifically for gaming and a separate one for your operating system. It would also be good to have another drive for storage oc. Also with a dedicated gpu. Sims 3 is graphics intensive and can be massively slowed down by virtual RAM caching depending. But also limit CC if any and always check for bad cc. Sims 3 has so many different bugs and there's is so many variables to consider which makes seemingly small issues very hard to pin down and fix.

Yes, there's a backup file here Documents\Electronic Arts\CC Magic so outside your sims 3 doc folder and also here Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Cache <<Make sure to backup your sims 3 doc folder before re installing to save everything, mods, saves, settings etc.. so that would include all your ccmagic content as well. after reinstalling you can put everything back the way you had it by copying your backed up sims 3 folder back or any individual files oc..

I've never run in to that one before myself, but after you click download is the sims3pack in your sims 3 downloads folder? If it makes it there then you can take it and covert it

Sorry you’re having this trouble. Something I found is a cple things you could try is delete the downloads file if it contains yr email address in it but also clear the cache files in the sims 3 doc file. Also clear the cache for your browser. If that doesn’t work try moving your sims 3 doc folder to yr desktop and open the launcher to refresh the launcher and create new sims 3 doc folder and then try downloading the items again

If you have your sims 3 doc with all your saves on that particular drive and as long as you install sims 3 on the same drive, you should be fine yes. But make sure to back up your sims 3 doc on a different drive as well just in case something happens. I have my saves backed up on 3 different drives lol! Just because I've endured the pain of losing precious families in the past:(

Did you put the content package file in your mods package file? This file is important because it contains the xml file that loads descriptions and biographies of households

@@milagrosmonsegur2562 It would have to be something else because the files work on my end. I would start with checking your resource.cfg file in your mods folder. Or maybe backing up yr mods folder and replace it with a new mods framework. It seems that the game isn't reading that content file for some reason. I would have to ask you a bunch of questions in order to trouble shoot. Do you have discord? If so you could add me and we could chat there?

Hi:) You can create one just name it Library with the capitol L. The game automatically creates one when you upload a lot from a world but ya, just create one should be fine:)

I did check the same files provided and all the families are there so I'm not sure why they wouldn't be there for you..

there could be many reasons depending on your setup, how well you know your user files and clearing out junk files, the world itself, and depends also on if your game needs a repair. Could even be a certain mod conflicting. I sometimes have to pull my whole mods folder out, back up my sims 3 user file and re install the game, I then add a few mods back in at a time with a lot of loading and quiting the game until I can pin point the issue. That might be a bit extreme in yr case though. If you're installing the world in the right folder, it should show up.
