This was a great video and very helpful for those on this journey. You’ve grown so much!! I can see why, people like the authenticity! This has encouraged me to continue creating and posting just being me, even with hair that needs washing 😂thank you and God bless!! I’ve subscribed 🙏

As a new content creator I am still dreaming for my first 500 subscribers. I am in my mid 20s and still feel a bit LOST but bit by bit I figure out life and I share about it in my channel and hopefully inspire others like me too. Your video is inspiring! Thank you for the motivation. Hoping for the best!

Congrats on taking the KZbin Plunge! ADVICE FOR YOUR SHOW NOTES: Hi, I'm a graphic designer and I build mini brands. Just giving you some FREE advice on some things I noticed in your show notes. Show Notes are SUPER DUPER IMPORTANT! As folks are listening to your video they are doing 1 of 2 things: - reading your show notes to see who you are, to find a website or any products or things you reference in your video (a product, book, etc) - starting to read comments 1. KZbin Real Estate - The first 2 lines of your Show Notes are SUPER IMPORTANT KZbin Real Estate - this is what viewers see once they click on your video. Make it count! Don't showcase someone else's youtube video link - use that space for YOU first! Ideally you should showcase your CTA in the first 2 lines to direct your viewers somewhere. (i.e. your free download, your website or 1 social media link you want to cross build over to) - NOT to someone else's youtube channel or website, put that in a lower are of your shownotes. SIDE NOTE: You SHOULD have a website domain asap the moment you start youtube, even if its a temporary URL. I use PayHip for FREE but go purchase a domain asap from GoDaddy. Basically, You want to start building "clicks" to your own website which will come in handy later as you decide to grow into more stuff and offerings, trust me. All KZbinrs need a website, even if it's cheap, ugly and free. You MUST have your own "internet business card" to have an easy way for brands or other YOuTubers to contact you. Make folks click on your site to see what you are all about even if you are just Lifestyle topics for now. To see my website, go to xoaliciamarie.com ( I did all of that for FREE through PayHip.com) 2. Spacing - you have a huge amount of space in between your information. Folks on their phones or smaller tablets will just see space and not keep scrolling down to see all your other information. 3. Create a Show Notes template for yourself and make sure you update as many videos as things change (i.e. when you change your website address or any social media handles) I use Google Docs so it's in the cloud anywhere I need to edit my show notes on my phone, computer or iPad. HOpe that helps! Eventually I'll be going into helping others tweek this type of thing and other branding stuff on my own KZbin channel but for now I am dropping FREE Tips and Advice but soon I will offer full-on critiques for anyone wanting to know what they need to do to make their brand / settings / website cohesive. Take care! XO ~ Alicia Marie

This is truly inspiring-thank you for sharing! After procrastinating for over five years, I finally launched my own KZbin channel two months ago. Now, I'm just a few subscribers away from getting it monetized. It's amazing how quickly life can turn around when you believe in yourself!

You are doing just great 👌 I am a starting youtuber myself and battling with the very same issues. If you keep yourself in the fog so you will not recognize when you fail, it is a roadblock to being anything succesfull ever. You are going to fail a thousand times before you success, its just kinda how it goes. You have to accept the fact that you are going to be a fool for the first videos you make, because what do you know. But the silver lining is that if you dont care about being a fool, because that is part of the journey anyway, there is a lot of potential you could easily reach. I am atruggling with the same exact issues and hopefully I will pull through at least half of the confidence you are pulling through. Sitting in front of a camera talking is not always fun when you dont have the confidence. Especilally when I am a finnish guy and english is not my first language 😂 But taking baby steps, getting a little bit better with each video kinda makes me feel like there is something there. Just keep on pushing and maybe it will be good enough. At least I am learning something even if no-one ever watches my content 😅 Good luck and keep up the great work 👍

BROOO this is so weird but from 9:10 those couple sentences you say on perfectionism are EXACTLY what I said in my own video when I was ranting about perfectionism and how I was afraid of not uploading again, spoiler i never continued uploading lmao but good on you for getting over that creative perfectionist block! I am so proud and so impressed <3
