This man was a MURDERER. He broke out of Prison, murdered his cousin three years later and went back to prison. He then LITERALLY sang his way out of jail by writing a song to the governor and went on to do many more songs.

Yes, he wasn’t perfect, no one is. Elvis by today’s standards would be a pedo, chuck berry would be seen as a s*x offender. In fact most rocks stars would’ve been canceled long ago and labeled s*x offenders or pedos lol -> Steven Tyler, mick jagger, Jerry Lee Lewis the list is too long 😭, 1 of my favorite bands Noir Desir their lead singer did some years for deleting his mistress and the band has been making new music off and on since his release from prison.. i Can’t think of any others 😅
