I had the same issue with my VB44 set and it ended up being a slightly bent rod on the right side choke butterflies. Very slight. So I had to physically "straighten" it with my benchvise and a hammer. And I used 500-grit and 1,000-grit sandpaper and finely "polished" the rods on all contact points with the carb itself. Works perfectly now. And it stumped me for two solid days.

This ends so abruptly that it seems like there's a bit missing or a second episode was planned but never made.

I recall reading many years ago about a gyro stabilized 2 wheel car that was on the road in Russia before World War One. www.hemmings.com/blog/2019/01/25/that-time-wolseley-buried-a-russian-counts-two-wheeled-gyro-car-because-it-ran-out-of-storage-space/

Good logic: 1/2 the size, 1/2 the fuel consumption. And, 2x as many cars. Net fuel consumption reduction: 0%

If the gyro is not revved up to full momentum, the car will roll over during a sharp turn. The original gyro bearings were made of a self-lubricating alloy of Beryllium and Lead

Surely it is designed to lean into a bend in the same way as a motorcycle ??

Those are the famous Johnny 5 (from the movie Short Circuit) rear wheels, on the two arms. Very rare, i believe Cessna (originally) tires.

The Gyro-car was invented in 1910 by a Russian Royal family member named Pyotr Shilovsky. Wikipedia has pictures and description for those interested in the technology. The car was built, tested, and soon after buried in a pit to hide it from zee germans. Good things don’t come easy, indeed!

There are a few videos of this car running, and a 3D animation that goes into detail on how it balances. Just search youtube for gyrox.

Yes I did this years ago, it took a while for them to get everything worked out with the gyro but it’s up and running and completely restored

@@FranklinKnights2010 I'm a mechanic and electrical engineer. This guy is a surgeon artist. I engineer PCB's and have custom designed ECM's and even built a few old cars (1959 Borgward Isabella, 1960 TBird, 1964 Corvair and 1964 Ford GT40) but all I did was rebuild what was already there. That guy doing that restoration had to build stuff that was missing. He had to not only figure out how to fill in the blanks, he also had to figure out how the spaces that were in the blanks worked. He's like Jesse James. A true craftsman.

Aspect ratios are a thing. Quit stretching 4:3 into 16:9. It looks like crap when stretched.

I'm sure that car was originally painted at Junior's house of color on Century Boulevard in Lynwood, California by the legendary Hirsch "Junior" Conway. We lived on 108th Street near Lorraine, less than a block from Junior's shop. My brother and I used to go over and look at it while he was working on it. It was also on the cover of Popular Science. It's possible that the pictures were taken at Junior's. To the best of my knowledge, Junior still kicking and has a shop in Bell Gardens on Florence Avenue. I'm focusing in now on 65, and I can remember Junior when I was 7 like it was yesterday. Even in those days, Junior was to Binks, like Stevie Ray Vaughan was the Fender.

Deon Van der Westhuizen I disagree. Obama is not an idiot. He is a hippocrate, a liar, a warmonger who won a Peace Prize, a promise-breaker, someone who considers torture as just something you do to "folks" much like inviting someone into your home for coffee, he is a tool for the policies that help the super rich and a supporter of a one-sided status quo system that allows the oligarchy that is disguised as democracy in America to continue unchecked... but he is not an idiot. I do agree that I would also have enjoyed this video more without having to watch his lips flapping.
