This ends so abruptly that it seems like there's a bit missing or a second episode was planned but never made.

@@FranklinKnights2010 I'm a mechanic and electrical engineer. This guy is a surgeon artist. I engineer PCB's and have custom designed ECM's and even built a few old cars (1959 Borgward Isabella, 1960 TBird, 1964 Corvair and 1964 Ford GT40) but all I did was rebuild what was already there. That guy doing that restoration had to build stuff that was missing. He had to not only figure out how to fill in the blanks, he also had to figure out how the spaces that were in the blanks worked. He's like Jesse James. A true craftsman.

I'm sure that car was originally painted at Junior's house of color on Century Boulevard in Lynwood, California by the legendary Hirsch "Junior" Conway. We lived on 108th Street near Lorraine, less than a block from Junior's shop. My brother and I used to go over and look at it while he was working on it. It was also on the cover of Popular Science. It's possible that the pictures were taken at Junior's. To the best of my knowledge, Junior still kicking and has a shop in Bell Gardens on Florence Avenue. I'm focusing in now on 65, and I can remember Junior when I was 7 like it was yesterday. Even in those days, Junior was to Binks, like Stevie Ray Vaughan was the Fender.

Those are the famous Johnny 5 (from the movie Short Circuit) rear wheels, on the two arms. Very rare, i believe Cessna (originally) tires.

Good logic: 1/2 the size, 1/2 the fuel consumption. And, 2x as many cars. Net fuel consumption reduction: 0%

If the gyro is not revved up to full momentum, the car will roll over during a sharp turn. The original gyro bearings were made of a self-lubricating alloy of Beryllium and Lead

Aspect ratios are a thing. Quit stretching 4:3 into 16:9. It looks like crap when stretched.

This thing is awesome to see drive, but would be scary if the roads were full of them... I might say the same about a self driving Tesla.
