Eastbourne has become a run down hovel and heading the same way as other seaside towns. I remember the days when the seafront was coloured with beautiful flowers and hotels had holiday coaches parked outside with a flow of old biddies flooding out. Now it’s a former shadow of itself and probably immigrants are the only trade? Never be out of business.

Have seen such boxes still in operation as late as the 1970's. Only good thing I see about the earlier box is that its possible to see which fuse has blown. Never seen the sense in double pole fusing, since if the neutral only blows, the defective appliance, if left connected, is still dangerous. Lived in a house with double pole fusing on the lighting, but it had a safety feature in that the cast iron fusebox cover only opened when the main switch was thrown.

Do you know what Austerity is? What if told you, the reason you’re kids don’t recognise your country anymore, and the reason they’re gonna be scared, is the same reason you’re cycling home in the pissing rain, and the same reason the country is so throughly on its ass and down shitter, was because when you give a small group of rich people a shitload more of the national cake, the average persons share has to get smaller. Your kids will grow up in poverty, and it will only get worse unless we vote for a wealth redistribution. The problem is wealth inequality, not migration.

Why would anybody try to be rich with that attitude? You'll just take their money away from them the second they get it. Entrepreneurs are the people that actually create jobs and growth in this country, so how would you convince them not to emigrate somewhere else? Or to take the risk of entrepreneurship? Let me guess: "Let them piss off, we don't want them here anyway". Well I have news for you, the rich get taxed more than the poor, so you're just throwing away money that the government can spend on the things your complaining about. You blame these people for scapegoating immigrants when you blatantly scapegoat rich people instead. Hypocrisy. There are no solutions without sacrifice, and I think you're barking up the wrong tree. The only policy that I think is a no-brainer right now is scrapping net zero and getting more actual production back into the country. And in case you're an eco-fanatic, I refer you to this tweet by the Prime Minister of India: x.com/narendramodi/status/1774844651394228422.

@@FSCforal I am yet to see you respond to any criticism with any genuine arguments or evidence. The fact that you mention you would like to stand for parliament with that attitude is an insult to British values of competence and decency. This is not the Britain our ancestors fought for, in fact this is exactly the sort of unfounded populist ideology they fought against and would be ashamed to see you espousing. While some of Reform's policies regarding public welfare and opportunity appear to be a step in the right direction - and I commend them for that - the majority of their so-called 'contract' is propped up by empty rhetoric, outright prejudice and baseless nonsense. As far as I'm aware, every genuine economist who has looked Reform's policies has made it clear that their numbers do not add up in any way - a luxury afforded to them by the knowledge that they could never seriously gain power in this election. Economic inequality has risen to its highest level since the Victorian Era under the previous government, reducing the standard of living of everyone but the elites (like Farage). This problem has become so bad that life expectancy may now vary to as high as 20 years from one side of a city to the other. Anyone serious about making things better for their children would do well to campaign for increased taxation only the wealthiest in society, especially capital gains tax which is essentially our only defense against society's slow collapse into neo-feudalism. Instead Reform and their supporters are pissing about parroting bullshit slogans with no genuine plan for societal improvement beyond trying to remove us from a bill of human rights which was written by British politicians based on British values, all the while claiming that they are the party of patriotism. Please actually research what you're talking about. If you have a shred of intellectual honesty, a good place to start would be to watch some videos from the channel 'Gary's Economics'. I really hope you take what I have said seriously.

I like to expand on Nigel Farage Nigel Farage abusive nature towards European funds: Nigel Farage faced allegations that he had improperly used money, including funds from the European Parliament, to support his mistress, Annabelle Fuller. Fuller was a long-time aide and press officer for Farage. As a Member of the European Parliament, Farage received allowances for various expenses, including travel and staffing. Critics alleged that some of these funds were used to cover Fuller’s expenses, including accommodation and travel, which they claimed was inappropriate and possibly against the rules of the European Parliament. Racist remarks when he was a young/adult: In 1981, while Farage was a student at Dulwich College, he was accused of singing the first verse of the German national anthem, "Deutschland über alles," which has Nazi associations due to its use during the Third Reich. This incident was reported by some of his contemporaries, who claimed it was part of a pattern of provocative and offensive behavior. A letter from teachers at Dulwich College was sent to the headmaster expressing concern about Farage’s behavior, which they described as “racist” and “fascist.” This letter, made public years later, added to the controversy over his past actions. Throughout his career, Farage has made other controversial statements that have been criticized as racist or xenophobic. For example, he has made remarks about the impact of immigration on British society and culture that many perceive as inflammatory. He has also been criticized for his comments about Romanian immigrants and multiculturalism in the UK. Farage, alongside other prominent Brexit campaigners, promoted the claim that the UK was sending £350 million a week to the EU, suggesting that this money could instead be used to fund the NHS. This figure was widely criticized as misleading because it did not account for the rebate the UK received from the EU and the funding the UK got back from the EU for various programs. The actual net contribution was significantly lower. After the referendum, Farage admitted that the £350 million figure was misleading and that it was a mistake to have promised it would be redirected to the NHS. Farage Posters: The "Breaking Point" poster, through its visual and thematic elements, has been compared to various forms of historical propaganda, especially from the Nazi era. One of the most direct comparisons is to the infamous Nazi propaganda poster "Der ewige Jude" (The Eternal Jew), which depicted Jewish people as a threatening and invasive presence in Europe. Or Nazi film comparsion. www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/nigel-farage-copies-nazi-propaganda-8209318
