it still astounds me to this day how you can get music and individual instruments and voice out of ridges on vinyl....still has a magic to me.

Immersing the parts in paraffin is good for degreasing - and as most of the residue goes to the bottom of the container you clean the bits in, you can pour most of the paraffin back into the bottle and re-use it several times.
