People choose this one because it has 5.25 bays, it woud have been better if the review were geared towards installing an ODD or maybe a media stick panel

I ordered mine and lasted only 3 months so I'm returning it,the screen started with verticle coloured thin bars going left to right and would jump now and again.I got another monitor delivered but it was an open box so I refused it.Seems like the monitors are failing then sent back then reissued again.Sellers are not saying anything "like it's new",so your delivery will come open boxed which rings bells that something is wrong.A new sealed box should work out of the box when opened and connected.The monitors are NOT comming from Samsung them selves either which put doubts on the quality.Samsung make great items but are being let down by another country making them for Samsung.

I have the non-matx version of this--the focus G non-mini. I actually love that it still has the 5.25 drive bay. It's one of the only cases that still has one. The Focus 2 removed it though, so you got your wish! I come back to this build of yours time and again because you made an open loop inside a tiny matx case that looks great. Way to go! And your cable management is great. Very well done!

This monitor was the behemoth of all monitors in 2020, especially when the COVID crisis was kicking in. Despite its excellent benefits, its build is somewhat awkward, and would be more suitable for business use over extreme gaming.

I would like some read and write speeds in bench testing on this thing even though it is looking my flashy and who's to say that it will last very long. I've got some ADATA SSD's that has less of me so far 5 years... Though I don't think that company makes any ARGB versions they are lasting through the test of time.

I'm using a Dell low profile (classic cheese grater design) case with a 5.25 drive bay front opening - in which there's an Icy-Dock rail system to quickly change between multiple OS HDs. I put in my own components. The case is just 4" thick. The only thing lacking - that I discovered later (after I was forced to re-apply CPU paste) is a 2nd removable side panel. I had to disassemble the whole thing to then be able to pull out the MoBo to then be able to get at those four big screws to remove the CPU block - a major pain in the ass. I don't want to go through that hell again when the paste dries out sometime in the future - and you know it will!! This Fractal case solves that issue - but now I'll gain all that extra case thickness. I haven't seen a slim profile m-ATX case with two removable side panels and a 5.25 drive bay opening.

I anticipated AE-9 release and ordered it on release. I was not happy with it. Found the amplification for 250,80,30 ohm headphones to low at max. The command center was buggy. Best internal card I owned ASUS Sound Card Essence STX II. Easy to use and non bloated app and powerful head phone amp.

Hello, I have just ordered the 850w product. It seemed very logical in terms of price and quality, I didn't want to miss it. However, a question mark appeared in my mind. Where will the 24 pin connection cable be inserted? I couldn't see any 12 rows other than the PC-i - CPU diagram above. I will need to connect 2 cpu cables and 2 pci-e cables. I bought this case for a mATX Windows XP build for playing games made from 2001-2008 on natively supported hardware and software. The drive bays are 100% essential in this application since many games of this time period require the disks be inserted to play the games. The second drive bay has a floppy drive with 5.25-3.5 adapter. This is essential for loading AHCI or RAID drivers during setup when installing Windows XP from an OEM installation disk. It's nice to see case manufacturers still catering to this application.

I wish reviewers would quit bad mouthing the 5.25 drive bays, and asking manufacturers to eliminate them. They can be very useful to those that are interested in more than just playing silly games and watching spinning/blinking lights. There are hundreds of cases out there without the 5.25 bays, so just use those, and quit complaining. You can buy some really awesome hot swap cages to put in the bays, for fast switching of HDD's, SSD's and even NVME drives. And some people still have other uses for them.

what's going on with manufacturers removing front usbs - with a lot of boards with minimum usb 2.0, 3.0 and C. I want to see at least 2xusb2.0 and 2x3.0 and also a C on more cases

The only thing I dislike is that diagonal division in the front, that makes it harder to put a watercooler or bigger GPU (I'm talking RTX 4090)... I wonder if I can mod it without affecting too much of the structure...

I would use 1 bay for a Blu-ray drive or burner. My PS3 would be playing games not movies (Netflix not withstanding) The rest of the space i would put unused cables or the bag of leftover cables. I use M.2 storage and a 3TB and an exos 8TBcmr drives in my B550M that will use this case. The Fractal D Focus G has been my go-to case. Edit: Use the Magnetic dust filters on the bottom of the case. I use top exhaust, or I place a magnetic rad cover the on buy at Home Depot cut to fit over top fan mesh to from a solid top

the only reason i got this case is because of two 5,25 bays. Some of us still use those for blu ray burners and to rip blu ray discs. This trend of removing 5,25 bays makes me reaaly mad😎

I bought this monitor before 2 weeks, put on 240hz and when i start playing something, on loading screen i can see blinking screen and while i play i can see lil blinking on screen. After i put on 120hz and doing good until today, it s start blinking on 120hz too... What should i do? It s on display port 1.2 and thinking to buy 1.4 cable to see will it happend again. I love my case so far. One of the features I chose it for specifically was the 5.25" bays. So many cases don't have them now. I still run a Blu-ray drive and the second bay may soon see a media card/e-sata/USB panel. 🙂
