A *2080Ti super* would be the only GPU that makes sense IMO... re-badge the same tech doesn't bring us forward, it merely brings us in-between...

Much agreed! However Nvidia doesn't have competition in this space, so to them, it's not necessary to do that.

Being OCN you should really focus on pushing these cards, overclocking and such. You should be doing what GamerNexus does.
