it looks like a mild cough. It may be a sign of lung problem. I know birds that died from it.

The gap in the fence is the widest in that corner, so, as he can't fly, the remainder of the fence looks like solid barrier to him. Hence, he repeatedly returns to the corner gap.

Every time you hear that loud sound it means a baby crow somewhere is getting fed.

You can laugh at my opinion but i would rather say it was trying to get to the rabbit's meat and in order to do so it was peeling small bits of fur

no, those goofy magpie does it every summer. They are baby magpie being naughty. They only do it after they have a full meal at my backyard. So they'll finish off eating the bowl of food I serve, then they got nothing better to do, they start poking my bun's ass

My Crow-nies were MIA for around two months, but resumed their place at the Crow-bar (my deck railing) in late July. I looked up your charming video, because I thought I heard a baby crow casing. Sure enough - this confirms it!

there is a water bowl less than a few inch of where he is. And he did drink some of that water. And if you go thru my video, there is actually a giant water bowl, and some other magpie do use it for bath. This magpie, somehow, chose not to use that giant water bowl
