Hi, when you are sizing an attenuation is this same process as causeway flow?
@CivilTechSourceАй бұрын
For the quick storage estimate yes, pretty similar
@Addie-v9hАй бұрын
@ I have noted when using the quick storage estimate on INfodrainage, there is the quick storage estimate tool. It gives you rough estimate. Do I then need to make the one node network (with attenuation tank) , and run the simulation to further reduce size of attenuation?
@CivilTechSourceАй бұрын
It depends what are you trying to achieve 🤔
@Addie-v9hАй бұрын
Is this the same method for INfodrainage ?

Yes I would say pretty similar. Did not run a comparison exercise though

After the last part please make a tutorial on how to prepare the road created for printing out
In this design, can't we have bunds at where levels is higher than Original Ground Level
@CivilTechSourceАй бұрын
You can I don't see why not, this tutorial just shows how to tie in into existing surface. If you have specific levels you can define them using the level tie in rather than the surface tie in

Brother Hi, We are from INDIA, Your video is very good, but it would be much better if you also say how to find our true coordinate system refernce point. for your case it might be easy but for many who are using the method you conveyed, the map is showing some where else way beyond the true point. It would be much better if you could eloborate right from autocad, how do you set the map as per the CSR in autocad, then identify correct csr for geo data and then applying correctly in my gedata website. I wish this will be of great help and favour. Many of us don't know how to setup a map in autocad as per the google coordiantes. so kind request to understand the situation and eloborate it in little more detail.

Hi, try the below website. It helps you convert lat & long (which are universal) to XY coordinates based on the EPSG you are working to. epsg.io/transform#s_srs=4326&t_srs=3857&x=NaN&y=NaN

Can you please demonstrate how to build a Rainwater Garden in causeway flow. Thank you
@CivilTechSourceАй бұрын
Hi, how big is this rainwater garden? I personally try to avoid modelling the raingardens as they offer very minimal impact on the drainage model in terms of volume. However I would probably model it using custom links with trench. Maybe a video in the future but not for now as low in demand.

@CivilTechSourceАй бұрын
Hi Chloe, unfortunately the topic itself will not yield much ROI. However, if you want to organise your layers using group filters then I would make sure the layer naming is set up in such a way that will make filtering easy. Example You can have the layer naming be Plan-Ground-Annotation, Plan-Ground-Model, Plan-Ground-Dimensions and then in the group filter you can filter all layers that have Plan-Ground at the front by typing this Plan-Ground*
