When I did a double Madoc NG deck back in the day I had the Sunset there since we’d draw off of the million Sappers played. I tried to replicate this but then found bricking to be a challenge with Madoc and the Sentinels so decided on Snowdrop. Then I found myself in situations where the card I’d draw off Sunset or SD was a brick so I’m like k… Fisher King. Then I was like, man opps keep pushing me hard and added RoF. Then I’m like oh shit, this is a cook. Gord meta was a fun time imo, so any chance to replicate that feeling I’ll take. I haven’t seen anyone do this exact play before and hope I’m the first to market here. I put my substitutions list in the description for those who want to tweak it, but the framework is here. Glad you enjoy this one, I’m proud of it.

Ok, i dont usually do this but here is my 🤨: i met a deck today that included these cards: temple of melitele congregation,siege,king demavend iii,king henselt,princess adda,king radovid v,radovid judgement,reynard odo,black rayla,hubert rejk. And some other card that i dont know it,with some dude spawning a fiery cicle,with 5 power and a timer( i dont think i have it).Is it possible? At these cards i added 2 kaedweni revenant and 2 siege master. i still must add 11 cards to my deck with 35 provision left? Is something that i am missing here? Thanks

It’s possible that a lot of these cards they played were created from Temple as it’s a cheat code for NR to trade up on provisions. If this is the case, there is a lot of rng that goes into it and the result may not be consistent between games. Generally Temple is a safe choice as 9/10 times you’ll find good cards.

I played the mahakam forge, its interesting to watch the game on your side. although i would say i surely made three maybe four big mistake, but your deck is very strong and you play it very good, it is hard to beat you in the game

This is definitely way better to play than Renfri. Oneiro+Maxi handles consistency almost always. I swapped Truffle+Knickers to Unseen Elder+Doregaray. Non-devo Unseen Elder is actually way better than devo because the devo ability is actually detrimental to what you usually want. I find I don’t need Knickers for consistency so having a lock is better.

My fav NR card of all time is King Belohun...would love to see if you could make a deck based around him work. I think its hilarious turning 4p bronzes like Cintrian Knight into these big 12 point plays, and starting engines at 6 is huge

I think you cooked something good here, this is a very cool, very comprehensive renfri deck. I'm always skeptical with renfri because most of time I feel a specials-included build would be better and more well rounded but this list on paper seems like it hits all the necessary points for a good deck. Gonna try this out today, nice to have you back man :)

Have you played Thronebreaker which has Meve as a protagonist, Q? It's quite a lengthy game, and has a really great story and characters. The writing is as good as The Witcher 3's, which is no surprise considering both were made by CDPR, haha.
