I like that your version feels a lot more oldschool than most other Commando decks I've seen this season, gives it extra style points for sure ;) However, I think not playing Coen at 6 prov is kinda crazy ngl, not sure why it didn't work out for you, with leader + AA + possibly vial it's really not hard to set him up in r3. Even when it's not 'perfect' as you said, playing him for 20-50 for 6 is just completely insane imo. Even in the worst cases you'll have at least a few Commandos sitting at 5-7 for him to boost and play for 20ish points. Also seems odd to me that you're playing Voymir when you could consider that Dvim on Garrison is essentially the same as Voymir but with 2 less provisions and you can put 2 in the deck. You lose some flexibility I guess cause it's a 2 card setup, but still worth it imo. R3 Garrison + 2 Dvims too boost all your Commandos by 3 + 3 armor is complete overkill, then consider a perfect Coen that can play for 50+ points on a perfect board, and you almost can't lose haha. Personally I could never cut Defender in this deck but that's preference I guess, not too many ppl playing purify this season and one answer for Donimir is one answer less for Foltest. Still, good guide, keep doing what you do, hope to see you on the ladder :)

I was thinking maybe renew instead of Roche, for pavetta in round 2, thus allowing triple commandos? Because we'd often need to use 2 leader charges on Roche.

I watched my buddy, polish streamer play Coen for a good hour on Twitch and my conclusion was that he required too much setup and typically the games where Coen was successful we were already winning. I’m sure some will think otherwise and it’s cool. He should be pretty easy to slot in here cost wise. I just hope this deck sees some ladder play this weekend.

Renew for another pavetta makes you unstoppable in a short round ( unless you’re getting heatwaves of squirreld

@@alontomoshpolsky7722 Renew would come at the expense of Foltest which could be good sometimes and bad others. I wish I could’ve included it. At one point I forgot to mention I even tried to include Decoy for Pavetta, although not ideal it was pretty cool.

no dwims? :0 they also work well with tp in this deck, so tp has less chance to brick

Dwim isn’t a bad choice, but we’re resetting Garrison without zeal which is kinda slow. If I did a Siege/Commandos hybrid I’d be more inclined to include them since we have a backup artifact.

@@Qcento oh, I thought the same, but when I tried it, even if slow, tp on dwim is 8 points or more (usually), and can help to bleed in r2, with garrison order, while still saving another order for a short r3
