ev mode disengages under 50% battery power, so it's not much useful when "idling". The main way i use it is when the battery is well charged after a cliff or whatever, and i know have some uphill roads ahead where the ICE would kick in but for no much reasons. this way i avoid toggling the ICE for 1 or 2 seconds when it's not really necessary. Also pro tip : use speed limiter set to 47 km/h to avoid going over the maximum ev mode speed

in a drive through, you're never using enough throttle to activate the ICE, and you can't prevent it from kicking in from low charge, as the ev mode will cut when main battery at <50%

The headlights are actually what you called the “fog lights”. The lighting above is the DRL / turn signal lighting. Just fyi.
