ev mode disengages under 50% battery power, so it's not much useful when "idling". The main way i use it is when the battery is well charged after a cliff or whatever, and i know have some uphill roads ahead where the ICE would kick in but for no much reasons. this way i avoid toggling the ICE for 1 or 2 seconds when it's not really necessary. Also pro tip : use speed limiter set to 47 km/h to avoid going over the maximum ev mode speed
