That was an insane improvement! Also because he is a talented bicycle rider, or can "anyone" expect to improve so much in just one day? And will this improvement transfer to other tracks?
@stefanhansen58825 күн бұрын
I know this is about track. Still, I have a road riding question: How much horsepower do you think is best for an intermediate rider on the road (including motorways)? I am asking about horsepower, since engine size is different. You talked about 100-140 hp for 600cc bikes. No modern road legal 600cc bike I know of has above 100cc. So, I guess a 1000cc road bike (e.g. a GSX-S1000) is kind of like a 600cc track bike (except heavier)?

Great video. I've always wanted to do a track day. My concern for me is how competitive I am and getting myself into a lot of trouble chasing after someone faster overtaking me. How would you get around that?

So you get all the gear, pay for your lift tickets, travel and accomodation - AND THEN risk it all so that you can do your first decent on a black slope by breaking your leg and sitting in the chalet for the rest of the week...? ...FOR A VIDEO..?? GENYUS MOVE MATE!!!

This is bullshit and clickbait. No way was it his first time on skis. Secondly, the message it is promoting is totally irresponsible. There are enough Jerry’s on the slopes without Richard Craniums encouraging more.

Great to hear this from Niall. I raced against and with Niall in his early days and he was always a fast little so and so. I know he remembers these days we all had great times in LC Yamahas. I never beat him I think but I did get fastest lap one time when I finished second to him which I was proud of at the time (Knockhill)!

Only place i found any kind of engine cover for my scrambler desert sled was in AliExpress, precisely the ones with the gbracing logo, but not the flimsy carbon imitation ones. I wanted genuine but no one makes them.

There are many hints that betrayed you, that you are not a beginner. You are fully equipped like an experienced skier: top advanced ski, high quality ski gloves and jacket, expensive goggles with fast interchangeable lens and balaclava. Then you have perfect boots fit because you can keep the ski parallel without wobble and you are not terrified of speed. At least you must be an experienced snowboarder.

I should have said I cut that from the video as it was too long with it in but they’re not carbon they’re basically just a plastic that have got a carbon sticker on 😂

I recently discovered your videos and I got some valuable information from them. 48 years here, driving bikes all my life. We all have our life story and life journey that brought us to this point and made us what we are. It takes special courage and will to tell your story to the world, so massive respect for that. Hey, I event got my 16 year old daughter to watch your videos, since she just started to drive on 125ccm and I think she can learn a lot from you. Wish you all the best mate.

The Indian government ruled that formula on racing was not a sport and that it was purely entertainment, which forced them to pay taxes for entertainment purposes.So they backed out on their 5 year contract that they had signed with the Indian government.That is why this track , what's abandoned.

£250 for a set of GB racing and £25 for a knock off set. So in theory you could buy two fake sets and stack them together making them twice as thick and still save £200 which is half a weeks wage for most people. For a lot of people the price difference is just too big to justify for something that isn’t safety critical. Then going on about the safety of these fake products as a major key factor and then using the engine casing shields as the product to conduct tests on…. Maybe crash bungs are a little more critical but not really for rider safety more for just trying to protect more expensive parts of their motorcycle.
@MattJones675GR9Ай бұрын
Weird irony that some of R&G products despite being made here n the UK the quality is bloody awful. I'm on my second tail tidy from them and I've had to basically repair it a few times.

@2fingertobiАй бұрын
Have them for years on my track bikes. Tested already three times unfortunately, but fortunately they never gave up and fully protected the engine covers. One with 180kmh, 160kmh and one with 90kmh. People forget if they buy this stupid fake stuff, when their engine covers and in worst case even inner parts are damaged during a crash, let it only happen once, they could afford the original covers 10 times. Don't save money on the wrong end folks. Love the GB racing covers, greetings from Germany.
