I just have to start off by saying this video has had me in hysterics, it's been brilliant to see you giving it a go and wanting to learn! As to the battle scars, leave them on the bike, you put them there and I'm sure you can remember how you did some of them. Can't wait for the next episode!

They are only original once, keep as is.Label wires and connectors, coloured tape etc in case some connectors are identical as it's put together so it can be rebuilt easier when you bin it !!

Technicians tip support the weight of the calipers with a bungee cord to relieve stressing the brake lines.

Great video as always! I would say keep the bike as it was with scratches and dents. One small tip if you're going to leave in storage either leave the water out or put a small amount of coolant back in the system so it doesn't rust.

If you just want a bike to display repair & renew everything, if you want a proper race bike to display leave it & don't destroy it's history or better still go & buy a nice new one & give me the race bike 😂

about the cleaning products. I like muckof but it's not the best to get the best Finnish you need to get better cleaning products. good luck though your gonna need it.
