They used to run these same cars, with a different engine, from Denver to Cheyenne every year for the Big Daddy of Them All, the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo. The mayor, governor, all sorts of dignitaries would ride that train. I won tickets one year to go on the train, and I was hooked. From then on, took lady, my best friend, who loved trains, and his girl and myself, and we went on that thing EVERY YEAR. We were quite well known on it. Robbed it once, well, dressed up as robbers for fun. Did all sorts of fun things. Everyone had such a great time on that train. It was one heck of a party train. We had bands on it, there was one car that would be known as "the party car" and another as the dance car, since there was a band and nothing but dancing in it. Ever danced on a train???? It can be interesting. The swinging and swaying of the music, and the tracks, they are not always in time...LOL. Anyways, got to meet some really fun people. Best parties I ever attended!!!!
