Stephen Graham is actually just unbelievable. I’ve never seen him do a bad job, every performance he has given has been incredible. Don’t get me wrong, everyone in This is England did an incredible job, but Stephen is just on another level. Absolute british legend

can we have 1 set just before the tories took power and release it in the cinema and finish it, "This was England" the characters need an ending

These scenes should definitely have taken priority over all the unnecessary crap with Gadget and co. I reckon it makes Combo’s fate more ironic.

6:51 *I'll catch you when i get out.* Foreshadowing. Considering that the National front members eventually grab Combo. With help from Milky's relatives.

not really, the whole point is to show racism as completely unacceptable which if anything is pretty in line with progressive values
@willb140522 күн бұрын
@@FakeNameingtonI don’t think that’s what he meant
@FakeNameington21 күн бұрын
@@willb1405 i appreciate that the 'left have ruined everything' narrative is both convenient and fun for many but it rarely stacks up to facts and truth. The antagonists in this film are all far right. The language is used to show the reality of the times back then. There would be no difference if this film was made today. The film was made to strongly critique the racist infiltration of the previously benign and multicultured skinhead subculture, and show how easily vulnerable young people can be radicalised into racist beliefs.
