That is a much better way to do it. Needles are cheap compared to repairing your machine because of a faulty needle. Thanks for the comment! Hugs

The prayer at the end is the reason I subscribed. 😊

Thank you for saying that. I love my prayer time. It means a lot that others find comfort in prayer.

Yes, there is such a thing as too much fabric. I was gifted an entire stash. I gave more than half of it away and I have used a lot of it. I still feel overwhelmed by so much fabric. Also I am trying to use what I have and not buy new. I don't like mixing new with vintage. It may be less daunting if you're the original purchaser... all fabrics will be to your liking. It's still frustrating when I see beautiful new fabric that I can't justify buying.

I also had a friend that gifted me bags of fabric and at the time I was so broke I welcomed it but as time went by I just watched it sit there because it was never the color I needed but I used what I could and gave away to those that needed some like I did at that time. Thank you for sharing! Hugs, Robbalee

That triangle rulers set is also named the “Tri-Recs” templates. Traditionally used to make the 54-40-or-Fight block.

I hope you feel better. Several years ago, my back "went out" so I feel your pain.

Thank you so much! Each day I feel it getting a little better. Just wish I knew what I did to it so I don't do that again! LOL Hugs

Wish I could take credit for it, I saw it somewhere and I know there are lots of patterns like this out there. I spin is using my scraps willy nilly! Hope you are having a fantastic year! Hugs

its not the smells in the dryer sheets, its the chemicals, just like fabric softener - total poison

from Gerry- I did this with strips going long ways. My sheets are 6x9 so I added 2" white strips long ways on one of the block so it became a 9'square and sewed the 6x9" bock to the top of it so the fabric was horizontal. That became one block. When I put the rows together I flipped every other block and the white strips made a great pattern. Thanks for the idea and God bless.

That sounded like a great way to adapt the dryer sheet. would love to see a picture of your finished quilt.
